As we've grown, we've started cataloging more and more information about the people who help make movie and TV magic. Look below to find all sorts of cool ways of finding out more about your favorite stars and filmmakers

Career Info:

• Find People by Name: To find an actor, filmmaker, or crew member, just enter their name in the "Search the database for" box in the upper left of any page, or go to our expanded search page.

• Find Actors by Character Name: Can't remember the actor's name, but you can remember a character they played. Use our character name search on the expanded search page.

• Find Actors by Multiple Titles: Can't remember an actor's name, but you can remember a couple of the movies you've seen them in. Use our common cast/crew search to enter the movies and see which people were in all of them

• Most Credits / Best Credits: Interested in who has the most credits or whose projects have the highest average rating? Check out our Most Prolific People page.

• Most Popular: Who is getting looked up most in the IMDb? Find out by checking out the "Most Wanted" section at the bottom of our Top Movies page.

• Awards & Nominations: To find out what awards a person has won or been nominated for, click the "awards & nominations" link in the lefthand column of their page. Or visit our awards section to see lists of the winners/nominees for various awards.

• Who Have They Worked with?: To create lists of people a favorite person has worked with or look up titles they've shared, click on the "worked with" link in the lefthand column of their page. Click here for a demo using Kevin Bacon.

• Non-Movie/TV Achievements: Has your favorite person been doing commercials, acting on stage, singing opera? Click on the "other works" link in the lefthand column of their page to find out (when available - if no information is available, the words will be greyed out).

• On TV This Week?: Click the "on tv this week" link in the lefthand column of a person's page to see which of their movies is airing on television this week.

Personal Info:

• Celebrity Birthdays and Anniversaries: Celebrity birthdays, celebrity deaths and celebrity wedding aniversaries can be found at our On This Day page.

• Famous Marriages: Look up famous marriages on our Movie star Marriages page.

• Biographical Info: If we have biographical data on a celebrity, the "biography" link in the lefthand column of their page will be active. For more general info or to search through all biographies for specific terms, check our our biographies browser.

• Where Are They Now?: First, look them up in the database. If their credits aren't very recent (tv guest appearances are at the bottom of the page, so scroll all the way down), see if the "other works" link is active in the lefthand column of their page. This can cover anything from stage work to writing a novel.

• Celebrity News!: When pulling up your favorite celebrity, look for the "news articles" link in the lefthand column of their page. If active, it will lead to an index of articles in our Movie/TV News section that mention them.

• PHOTOS!: All our publicity stills for movies are cross-linked to the people in the photos. When looking at a movie still, scroll down for links to more photos of the people in it. Or, when looking at the page for your favorite person, check the lefthand column for an active "photo gallery" link.

• Fan Sites & Official Sites: When on the page for your favorite movie or person, check in the "External Links" section in the lefthand column for links to official sites and various fan sites ("miscellaneous") around the web.
