| | Winner: | | | - Moritz de Hadeln
- Without his recognition, the TEDDY would be nothing: one of its most important moments was in 1992 when Moritz de Hadeln accepted the TEDDY as an official Berlinale award. On behalf of the TEDDY - gay/lesbian film prize of the Berlinale, the members of the non-profit registered association TEDDY e.V. would like to thank Moritz de Hadeln for his continuous endorsement of gay and lesbian films and their makers. His support goes back to his first days as director of the film festivals in Locarno and Nyon, and has extended over his past 22 years as Berlinale director.
