Ok. We admit it.
Taking an entire day off from blogging about Tiger Woods and his money-grubbing mistresses, Susan Sarandon playing naked Ping Pong and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's shirt-ripping fights and unrestricted relationship has made us a little antsy. And a little bored.
So we were thrilled to create this Elf Yourself Christmas video. (It's the site from Office Max powered by Jib Jab that launched a couple years ago where one can make a video of oneself and one's friends as maniacal dancing elves.)
Take those digital photos you shot of your friends and family opening presents and turn them into Hip Hop, Classic or Disco dancing elves. You can even make them sing. You can also waste hours doing this and avoid having to go to the mall to exchange gifts. Trust me.

Susan Sarandon in The Lovely Bones (DreamWorks/Paramount) I can’t say I’ve spent hours worrying about the fact that Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins‘ two-decade-plus relationship has come to an end. Even so, I was taken aback. Sarandon has been one of my all-time favorite performers since I was a teenager; the more I watched her and the more I learned about her, the bigger an admirer I became. I particularly admired her and Robbins’ daring to publicly denounce the Us-led invasion of Iraq long before it became fashionable (and politically safe) to do so. The duo were vilified in the right-wing media, online chatrooms, and, according to Sarandon herself, even in schools. Others have come [...] »

It seems someone is watching Alexa Chung. Hint: It's not TV viewers.
While MTV canceled the former model's talk show, "It's On with Alexa Chung," after only two seasons, Vogue seems to think she's the most watchable every season. They've named the 26-year-old the best dressed of 2009.
"She won over the U.S. style pundits," says Vogue's fashion judges. "With her quirky style and kept us on her side by staying true to the formula that won her our approval in the first place."
And, of course, Vogue is allowed to speak that condescendingly. They're Vogue!
Chung tops their list for her hipster mix of high and low style, such as wearing H&M with Chanel.
Vogue's new fashion queen beat out some pretty die hard fashionistas including Sarah Jessica Parker's quirky high-end style and Kate Moss with her "just rolled out of bed, but, blimey, I'm fab" look. »

Did Susan Sarandon, 63, replace her longtime life partner, Tim Robbins, 51, with an even younger man? Or does she just love playing naked Ping-Pong?
Sarandon has been rumored to be involved with aspiring filmmaker Jonathan Brinklin, 33, seen in the above video, who is a partner in Spin, the Flatiron District Ping-Pong club Sarandon invested in.
The Dish Rag is sure it's just business because a Ping- Pong club sounds like a very wise investment and is in keeping with Sarandon's philanthropic and political interests.
Brinklin was best known for hosting 'Naked Ping-Pong,' a wild party at a TriBeCa loft with models, hipsters, and random famous folks like rapper 50 Cent and author Salman Rushdie. The mind boggles at this activity. Let's just hope that Salman didn't play by the rules.
Brinklin told Page Six that Sarandon was his "friend and business partner." But Gawker doesn't buy it. And a piece in »
