Cult moviemaker John Woo has given fledgling director Robert 'RZA' Diggs permission to remake movie 1990 classic Die Xue Jie Tou (A Bullet In The Head) after striking up a bizarre friendship with the Wu-tang Clan star.
Diggs has yet to start shooting his first film, The Man With The Iron Fist, but it appears he already has his second movie planned.
The rapper says, "His movie, Bullet In The Head, he said I can make it over. He said, 'You will get no resistance from me.'"
Diggs and Woo became unlikely pals after the rapper sampled dialogue from the Chinese filmmaker's The Killer in hit track Only Build 4 Cuban Linx and they briefly studied kung fu together under RZA's New York master, Shi Yan Ming, according to the Los Angeles Times. »

I wasn’t going to post a top ten. Everyone does it, and i didn’t necessarily feel there’d be a whole lot of interest in mine. Also, as far as movie years go, it’s been a pretty poor one, so i struggled to name ten movies that i really liked enough to put on a list. As should be the preface when reading any review, this is just an opinion and should be treated as such. Unless you didn’t like Avatar. Then you need to have your cinema-going privileges revoked. Kidding…or not?
But back to 2009, which here ranked as one of the better years in film for the decade. From my own personal standpoint, I consider this list to be a nice mix of mainstream and independent film, but that’s up to you, the reader to decide. You can tell me how wrong and stupid I am after I present the »

Director: John Woo. Review: Adam Wing. After fifteen years of Woo-light Hollywood action movies, one of Asia's biggest exports returned to China to take on The Romance Of The Three Kingdoms. The two movies were cut and re-edited for a Western cinematic release, coming in at a mere 135 minutes. Lets be truthful here though, two cinematic releases for Red Cliff were incredibly unlikely so this version of the movie was the only opportunity we had of witnessing it on the big screen. Not that I did mind you. So how does the new version shape up, and has the beating heart been ripped from Red Cliff’s heroic chest? Re-teaming with Woo for the first time since 1992's Hard Boiled is the formidable Tony Leung. Kaneshiro Takeshi, Chang Chen, Vicki Zhao and Taiwanese model Lin Chi Ling make up the rest of the Scooby Gang. Fearing that Liu Bei and »
