Director of the stage musical "Tanz Der Vampire", which is based on his film Dance of the Vampires (1967) (a.k.a. "The Fearless Vampire Killers") and has been seen by more than 5 million people worldwide. The musical had its premiere in Vienna, Austria in 1997 followed by Germany (Stuttgart, Hamburg, Berlin, Oberhausen), Poland (Warsaw), Japan (Tokyo), and Hungary (Budapest).
