Is there any more exciting film staple than pirates? Pillaging, raping, kidnapping, cannon-firing, parrot-owning, Sicilian-beating, Keith Richards-loving, one leg missing, singing and dancing pirates! And now we can add real-life pirates to the list thanks to those pesky Somalian rapscallions who've been terrorizing the coast of Africa for the past several years. Per Variety, Columbia Pictures has hired Billy Ray to write a film based on the five-day hostage drama that played out earlier this year. More specifically, the film will center on Captain Richard Phillips whose life story rights as well as the rights to his upcoming book were optioned by Columbia. Phillips was held hostage by pirates before being rescued by Navy Seals. Spoiler alert! Ray's most recent work as screenwriter includes State of Play, Breach, and Flightplan. Beautiful Brooke Shields recently said that she regrets losing her virginity at the age of 22 and wishes she had sex earlier. The 44-year-old actress and model revealed that she used to have lack of self-confidence when it came to her appearance. Consequently, she put off from having sex.

To Health magazine, Shields admitted that not learning to love the way she looked earlier is her biggest health regret. In the interview, Shields said, "I think I would have had sex a lot earlier! I think I would have lost my virginity earlier than I did at 22."

The Blue Lagoon actor Christopher Atkins' movie past is chasing him in his new career - he now builds lagoon-inspired pools.

The 47-year-old became an overnight success at age 19 on the 1980 film, co-starring Brooke Shields.

But his movie fortune came to ruin in 1986, when Atkins discovered his former business manager had embezzled money, leaving him drowning in debt.

He tells the National Enquirer, "I had $250 in the bank. I had to take a loan out on my house just to cover the bills and buy food for (my family) to eat...
