We must face the sad truth: every single primetime show is on hiatus until 2010. Before the calendar turns, however, let's take a look back.
So far, the TV Fanatic staff has reviewed the ups and downs of The Vampire Diaries, 90210, House, Heroes, NCIS and The Good Wife in our mid-season report cards.
In this edition: Glee.
Best character: Kurt. This was a close call. But while Sue Sylvester utters our the funniest Glee quotes, she doesn't sing. Conversely, we can typically rely on Kurt for a great one-liner and a great note or two dozen during one of the show's countless musical numbers. He was also the focus of our favorite episode so far, "Preggers."
Worst character: Terri. This isn't Jessalyn Gilsig's fault. Her character was simply given grating material. Now that the fake pregnancy storyline has ended, perhaps Terri can return to simply being neurotic and somewhat entertaining. »

One of Jon Bon Jovi's three sons was rushed to a New Jersey hospital early Sunday (Dec. 20) morning after an emergency call was made to 911.
It's not yet known which of his sons needed emergency care.
Jovi's son was taken to Riverview Medical Center in Redbank, N.J. after the 2:20 Am phone call received.
The legendary singer's child was taken to the hospital in an SUV rather than an ambulance due to the severe winter storm.
Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea Rose Hurley have four children: Stephanie Rose (b. 31 May 1993), Jesse James Louis (b. 19 February 1995), Jacob Hurley (b. 7 May 2002) and Romeo Jon (b. 29 March 2004).
Let's hope it's nothing too serious and that the family can bring him home for Christmas.

Tonight, Muse will be making a musical guest appearance on Saturday Night Live with James Franco as the host. Muse tweeted about the upcoming appearance, showing this stage call, saying "Saturday Night Live coming to you soon..." Soon indeed. SNL promo-ed the event with Franco in this video. Muse's album, "The Resistance," was only recently released, but, as you know, they also appeared on The Twilight Saga: New Moon's soundtrack with "I Belong to You." So, which songs they'll choose to play on SNL remains to be seen, but it could be a New Moon song! It should come as no surprise to anyone who saw one of their multiple massive tours that classic rockers the Rolling Stones topped Billboard magazine's list of Top Touring Artists of the 2000s. What's shocking, though, is that the Mick Jagger and company are just one of three acts that raked in more than $800 million from 2000-2009.
Unstoppable touring juggernauts the Stones took the #1 slot with more than $869 million in grosses for 264 shows that played to more than 8.2 million fans over the past decade, followed closely behind by U2, who banked $844 million from more than 9.8 million fans for 288 shows, all of which were sold-out. The latter is an honor none of the other acts on the list can boast of.

Congratulations are in order to the Stooges, Genesis and Abba, who lead the latest batch of inductees in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Along with the Hollies and Jimmy Cliff, they'll all be sworn into rock's most hallowed hall on March 15, 2010. Since most aspects of the Hall of Fame are sort of inexplicable, arguments about who belongs and who doesn't aren't particularly useful. (Though for the record: The Stooges belong, Genesis is questionable and Abba is confounding. Also, Kiss got robbed.) That's why we've decided to look forward and try to guess who might be headed to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the future.
The criteria for induction requires that a band is not eligible until 25 years after the release of their first album. So let's take a look at five groups who has made it big recently and who could be a part of »

After giving Kanye West a piece of his mind and spoofing his famous abs during his hosting stint on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, "New Moon" star Taylor Lautner still had a little energy left in him to enjoy the "SNL" afterparty.
Taylor Lautner Parties For SNL
The 17-year-old actor, along with the night's musical guest Jon Bon Jovi, hung with the cast of the show at New York hotspot Matsuri. While chilling out with "SNL" stars Andy Samberg and Seth Meyers, Lautner dined on a sirloin steak, according to MTV News sources.

(S35E09) Hello, Twilight fans. I know you're only here because of your screaming hearts, thudding so hard that every beat is a case for internal bruising. I'm going to be upfront: I don't like Twilight. I tried reading it before it was a "thing" because my friends recommended it to me and I found myself struggling to get through it because, well, even then I knew it was embarrassing. I also watched the film, which I thought was very funny, though I realize that was probably not the intended effect.
That said, I thought Taylor Lautner did a great job. See? I'm not just swimming in haterade. Obviously, I wasn't prepared to like him, but just like Blake Lively from last week, Lautner delivered a strong performance. He seemed really comfortable throughout the entire episode and was surprisingly natural, more natural than some of the actual cast members at some points, »

Just 17 years old, Taylor Lautner has successfully stolen the emerging hunk spotlight right out from under Robert Pattinson and Zac Efron's feet. NBC inked Lautner to host their long-running Saturday Night Live sketch show last night along with musical guest Bon Jovi, and Lautner made hay with his rumored girlfriend "the other Taylor" Swift and the recent Kanye West on stage award grab debacle. Lautner defended Swift's honor by decapitating a Kanye West mannequin with some martial arts roundhouses. Tonight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and Valentine's Day star Taylor Lautner appeared as a guest host of the ever-popular Saturday Night Live (with Bon Jovi as the musical guests). The episode was, well, wig-a-riffic, as Lautner donned not one, two, or three, but four separate wigs in his various skits. Lautner also took a few stabs at his own New Moon character (in faux character of course) and played upon the Kanye West-Taylor Swift debacle. In the opening, Lautner started with a bit of acceptance of the various relationship rumors circling him and a "country music singer." He affirmed the relationship, saying in jest that it was with Reba. That'd be Reba McIntyre, of course. He then went on to discuss the fact that he and Taylor Swift had gotten "close" before noting his proximity (literally feet) from the big Taylor Swift- »
