He's definitely the best Julius Caesar in film/television history. No one else has even come close to capturing the authority, charisma, and tone of the real Caesar from the historical records. Too damn bad they rushed Rome. I think they could've done a few seasons before getting to the assassination of Caesar. The show loses probably its best character. Yeah yeah, I know, next season will be great too with the development of the Octavian/Antony rift, but still, having Hinds play Caesar was a real tour de force.
