Exclusive: Sorry Fans, Mr. T Will Not Appear In The A-Team Remake

1 hour ago | LatinoReview | See recent LatinoReview news »

I like to go to the gym 3-4 times a week. Sometimes 5 if my schedule allows it or I manage to get out of bed and find the motivation to put my gym clothes on (the hardest part about going to the gym is going to the gym). Since I live in La-La Land sometimes I usually see celebrities there. Nothing new, I've talked about it before. I've seen Zac Efron, Neil Patrick Harris, Michael Jai White a million times, Jamie Pressly, etc. etc. It's no big deal, they just go about their business. One celeb I've seen a few times is Mr. T, who is one of the nicest guys you'll ever talk to. Very humble, but 100% T. I said hello to him today and asked him if he was going to appear in the A-Team remake. I was hoping he was going to say yes, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. »

The Iron Man 2 Trailer Has Arrived

16 December 2009 6:49 PM, PST | SciFiCool.com | See recent SciFiCool.com news »

To hell with the preview of the preview, the maximum velocity “Iron Man 2″ trailer has hit the world and it’s ridiculous. I’m feeling some Rocky 3, Mr. T against a gone soft Rocky flavour here with Mickey Rourke playing the garage builder, chip on his shoulder Russian and Tony Stark gone even more Hollywood. You’re going to love it. Catch it for now in sweet HD via Apple. »

Dexter: Season 4 Finale Preview

8 December 2009 6:45 AM, PST | ScreenRant.com | See recent Screen Rant news »

Following Sunday’s episode of Dexter, I almost ran to the computer to type up a “Review & Discussion” piece because the final moments were so intense and exciting that John Lithgow and Michael C. Hall have guaranteed themselves an Emmy nomination next year. Forget Luke & Laura, we’ve got Dexter Morgan & The Trinity Killer. With the season finale less than a week away, place your bets because next week brings with it the ultimate serial killer showdown.

While Showtime is being extremely tight-lipped about what to expect in the season finale, I’ve gathered everything I could find regarding the season finale. I even watched an hour-long live chat with Dexter executive producer Clyde Phillips, hosted by a horrible “zoo-crew,” in an attempt to find new information. While Phillips had some extremely interesting tales, the horrible hosts were so annoying that they had me wishing Dexter would pay me a »

Sharlto Copley’s A-Team Birthday Cake

28 November 2009 2:54 PM, PST | Slash Film | See recent Slash Film news »

Many of you know Sharlto Copley from his feature acting debut in District 9 (speaking of which, am I the only one crazy enough to believe that Copley should get some recognition for his performance come awards time, but realistically won't). Copley is playing Capt. 'Howling Mad' Murdock in The A-Team movie. /Film tipster Jimmy Jab sent over this photo, which he claims features a cake Copley's mother sent to the set of The A-Team for her son's birthday (Sharlto turned 36 on November 27th). The cake features a photo of a young Copley who was celebrating his own birthday with a cake featuring Mr. T as A-Team member B.A. Baracus. How cool is that? Check out a photo of the full cake after the jump. »

Another Original 'A-Team' Member Confirms Cameo

28 November 2009 12:39 AM, PST | GetTheBigPicture.net | See recent Get The Big Picture news »

As much as we may hate to admit it, the early indications are that The A-Team is moving in the right direction. The casting for at least three of the key roles seems perfect, we know with Joe Carnahan directing it probably won't be as 80s campy, shifting instead to a grittier approach, and the van is back. About the only thing that can screw it up is TV cast member cameos.

Damn it: Dirk Benedict just revealed on Dirk Benedict Central that he will film his role in Vancouver. He follows Dwight Schultz, the original "Howling Mad" Murdock, in announcing his walk-on role. That leaves only World of Warcraft pitchman Mr. T...and I think you know what he'll say. »

Dirk Benedict To Cameo in The A-Team

27 November 2009 12:20 AM, PST | Slash Film | See recent Slash Film news »

Earlier this month, we learned that Dwight Schultz, the original Howling Mad Murdock, would be making a cameo in the Joe Carnahan's big screen film adaptation of The A-Team. Cinematical now has word that Dirk Benedict, who played Templeton "Faceman" Peck in the original television series, also has a cameo. Mr. T, who many will remember as the original B.A. Baracus, has said publicly that he was offered a cameo but turned it down, explaining "it's insulting me to ask me to be in it [as someone else]. It's just like my ex-girlfriend saying 'Why don't you come out to dinner with my new boyfriend?' You see what I mean? I am not going to do that." »

Dirk Benedict to Cameo in ‘The A-Team’

26 November 2009 8:00 AM, PST | The Flickcast | See recent The Flickcast news »

When official word came that Dwight Shultz, the original Murdock, would be appearing in the new A-Team movie we were anxious to know if any other actors would be involved. Well, good news A-Team fans, because the original Faceman, Dirk Benedict, will be making an appearance as well. While no details were provided, his official website did state he would be involved:

“Dirk has just announced to this website that he has two projects in the works beginning with a cameo appearance in the new “The A-Team” film, which is currently shooting in Vancouver Canada.”

This is great news and means the only member of the original cast to confirm is Mr. T.  Hopefully he’ll come on board and make this the trifecta of casting for a film remake. Sadly, George Peppard will not be returning having passed away in 1994. However, maybe Melinda Culea, Amy Allen on the original series, »

The A-Team Meets The A-Team – Cameo News!

26 November 2009 5:36 AM, PST | FilmShaft.com | See recent FilmShaft.com news »

Still loving this promo shot for the upcoming “The A-Team” film by director Joe Carnahan. Just look how cool they all look! Especially Sharlto Copely. Maybe I’m being a bit biased seeing as District 9is my film of the year but they have completely nailed the casting for this film. The first set of pictures was released months ago with the promo stuff following in October and they did enough to send shock waves throughout the entire A-Team loving community.

The pictures of the main cast looked great and with what I can only assume is more than solid support from Patrick Wilson this is going to be one huge thrill ride.

As if us fans didn’t have enough to look forward too news filtered through a couple of weeks ago that Dwight Schultz, the original Howlin’ Mad Murdock would feature in a cameo. Now it seems he »

Dirk Benedict Confirms Cameo in the New A-Team Movie

26 November 2009 1:22 AM, PST | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

Here’s some news which was bound to surface sooner or later. Dirk Benedict has confirmed via DirkBenedictCentral.com that he’ll be appearing in the new The A-Team movie with a cameo part.

As I say, this comes as no surprise to me as anyone who’ll appear in the celebrity version of Big Brother in the UK will surely be part of a big budget movie given half the chance! With Dwight Schultz confirming a couple of weeks ago that he’ll be in the movie, all we need now is the big man, Mr. T to get involved and we have ourselves a movie!

Joe Carnahan is directing the new movie which stars Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, Liam Neeson as Col John ‘Hannibal’ Smith, Sharlto Copley as Captain ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson as Sgt Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus and Jessica Biel as their female sidekick. »

Another A-Team Cameo Confirmed: Dirk Benedict

Remember when this kind of thing stayed secret? I'm not losing sleep over the production of The A-Team or anything, but it makes me nostalgic for the days down the long haul and into history back when you didn't know anything about secret cameos until you were in the dark theater. Then you could nudge whoever you were with and say "Oh my gosh! That's Dirk Benedict! Ha ha!" If you had your head bitten off »

New Moon To A T

20 November 2009 7:25 AM, PST | ReelLoop.com | See recent Reel Loop news »

Folks, I’ve been trying to fight the good fight and convince girls that Twilight is everything evil and nasty in the world, but my efforts have failed. The unfortunate truth is that horny girls and depressed mothers aren’t going to listen to myself, and my colleagues about what atrocious pieces of filmmaking they are or what a poor, sad writer Stephenie Meyer is. So I’ve decided my friends, to tell a story that many a male experienced last night at midnight or will experience over the weekend. This little tale starts with a man taking his lovely lady out for a date, and after taking her to see something more worthwhile, it was the gal’s turn to pick the movie.

“I ain’t wanna see no jibber-jabberin’ vampires or no sucka werewolves,” the man said. “But T, you promised you’d take me to it after sitting through Boondock Saints II, »

Rocky: The Undisputed Collection – Blu-ray Review

18 November 2009 12:37 AM, PST | ReelLoop.com | See recent Reel Loop news »

Rocky

Times like these, I hate reviewing classic films. What can I add that hasn’t already been said or covered about the 1976 Best Picture winner? Well, other than what film should have won it, but Rocky is a more than worthy candidate for the statue. It sometimes gets criticism for not showing enough of the epic fight at the end, but I feel that’s a brilliant move as we know these men will go the distance. The performances are excellent, the direction is up to par, and the story is a timeless classic. Truthfully, the alternate ending where Rocky throws the fight would have been interesting to see.

9/10

Rocky II

I’d forgotten what a depressing trip this was, which makes Rocky’s eventual win that much sweeter by the end of the film. This marked Sylvester Stallone’s second directorial debut and for the most part he »

The screen beauty is currently shooting ‘The A-Team’ movie – which is based on the popular 80s TV series about a group of mercenaries and starred Mr. T - and admits she has really enjoyed learning how to fire guns for the action film. Speaking at the Hollywood premiere of new animated film ‘Planet 51’, she said: “I haven't done a lot of M4 machine gun shooting in my life and I'm doing that now a lot, it's amazing to understand how to run those weapons.
