Golden Globes 2018 Full TV Nominations List: ‘Big Little Lies,’ ‘Feud’ Lead Varied Pack
Big Little Lies” has a big little lead at the Golden Globes. The HBO series, which already won eight Primetime Emmys in September, now heads into the 2018 Globes with six nominations, more than any other program.

The “Big Little Lies” nomination haul comes just days after HBO confirmed that a second season of the show is now in the works. Behind it is FX’s “Feud: Bette & Joan,” which has four nods; then Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale,” NBC’s “This Is Us,” and FX’s “Fargo,” with three apiece. Beyond that, the Hollywood Foreign Press spread the nomination love around, with many of TV’s most acclaimed shows receiving just one or two nominations. It’s the end result of the Peak TV era: With such a robust and eclectic offering of scripted TV shows from multiple outlets, HFPA voters opted to honor as many shows as possible.

The 42-year-old actress is featured in Net-a-Porter’s digital magazine, The Edit, and talks about her longtime romance with the 74-year-old actress and their 32-year age difference.

"My life choices are, um, unconventional," she confides. "I’m with a much older person and people find that totally fascinating and odd, and, to me, it’s the least interesting thing about me."

Paulson adds, "But I do feel a bit unconventional."

The Emmy winner shares that when she first started dating Taylor, she was told that it could have a negative impact on her acting career. Sarah Paulson Was Told to Keep Her Romance With Holland Taylor a Secret

Sarah Paulson Was Told to Keep Her Romance With Holland Taylor a Secret
Sarah Paulson might be one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood now, but it definitely wasn't always that way. In fact, the actress—who became a household name after taking on roles in American Horror Story and The People v. O.J. Simpson—had to go through a lot to get to the place in her career that she is today, including hiding her relationship with actress Holland Taylor. Paulson, 42, first confirmed her romance with the 74-year-old in March of 2016 after several people told her to keep it from going public. "My life choices are, um, unconventional," she told The Edit in the cover story of their latest issue. "I'm with a much older person, and...

Judd Apatow on Returning to Stand-Up Comedy After 25 Years

Judd Apatow on Returning to Stand-Up Comedy After 25 Years
The first thing Judd Apatow does in his new stand-up special is tell the crowd that he has wanted to do this kind of show since he was a kid.

The second thing he does is joke about how famous he is.

“There’s a little bit of a freak show element to me doing it,” Apatow says of his act and the need to lead it off by addressing his Judd Apatow-ness. “If I ignored that it was weird that I was up there, the audience wouldn’t [listen to my act]. They would just want to know about me and my life.”

Apatow, who is nearing his 50th birthday, sits in a conference room at his production company’s L.A. office. Behind him are photos of the casts of “Freaks and Geeks” and “Girls,” two of his best-loved TV shows. To his left is a whiteboard bearing story notes for season three of one of the current

Doc Corner: 'La 92' and 'Let It Fall: Los Angeles 1982-1992'

by Glenn Dunks

It’s not surprising that the spectre of the Los Angeles riots of 1992 has loomed large over documentary filmmaking this year. Emerging out from shadow of O.J. Simpson, whose story was everywhere in 2016, the 25th anniversary of this monumental moment in American history has been the focus of not just (by my count) five feature documentaries, but has also felt like an integral part of more contemporary films like Sabaah Folayan and Damon Davis’ Whose Streets, Yance Ford’s Strong Island, and Peter NicksThe Force.

It would make sense then that these films, which largely pull from many of the same archival footage sources, might be in danger of working against one another. Dampening their urgency and their power simply by being too numerous.

However, at least in the case of Dan Lindsay and Tj Miller’s La 92 and John Ridley’s Let It Fall: Los Angeles 1982-1992,

‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ Will Feature a Harvey Weinstein-Like Figure Who Preys on Flight Attendants

‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ Will Feature a Harvey Weinstein-Like Figure Who Preys on Flight Attendants
Many social media users have cited the 19-season run of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” as a reminder that sex crimes have long pre-dated Harvey Weinstein. To the surprise of no one, the disgraced former studio head — whose dozens of accusers recently inspired countless others to speak out against powerful men they’ve encountered in the workplace — will inspire a 2018 episode of the Dick Wolf-created NBC procedural.

The show’s executive producer, Michael Chernuchin, told Entertainment Weekly that “we are hitting Harvey Weinstein head-on” with a fictionalized account of predators who work in the airline industry.

While readying a previously-planned script about “airline pilots and what a boys club that is,” Chernuchin said he and his writers realized, “‘Wow, this is exactly what the actresses go through in Hollywood. It’s the same environment.’ So we got all of our Harvey stuff out with airline pilots.”

O.J. Simpson Gets Juice

Getting trumped by Trump is nothing compared to the guy in Nevada who can now say he's juiced up the Juice -- and lived to tell the tale. O.J. Simpson hit up a Nekter Juice Bar bright and early Friday in Summerlin, near where he's been holed up since getting out of prison last month. We're told Simpson ordered a Berry Banana Burst. It's technically a smoothie made with strawberries, bananas, blueberries, cashew milk and a little agave nectar.
