Hey There Everyone,

This is an open question from a foreigner, really wanting an Americans understanding on this. What is the deal with this quiet blanket of racism or supposed racism in the US?
I was reading the blog on Boycotting Foxx's films and it became one of race really fast. So my questions are open to all races, here they go.

1)Is racism really that rampant in the US?
2) Do white people feel that black people pull the race card anytime something touchy comes up?
3)Do black people feel that something fundamentally has to change, like a compensation to families, or just more time to pass before this can be put to rest? Or has it been put to rest enough for you?

It seems that on the surface everyone in the States seems really happy and positive, but when you crack the surface a little there is a lot of rage and unanswered questions.
Thanks very much for this and please if I can ask one more favor of everyone who is courageous enough to take part in this, please don't hold back.
