Synopsis

The Dark Lord Bunnykin's Blog chatted briefly with Troma president Lloyd Kaufman shortly after his trip to Winnepeg, Canada where he and his brother Charlie shot cameo's for the upcoming Mother's Day remake. An Osborne Village, Canada local became alarmed over the weekend when they saw two men running about with blood and guns. Said concerned citizen naturally called the cops. When officials arrived on the scene, however, they learned there was no need for concern...the two bloody men were acting out a scene for Darren Bousman's Mother's Day . As it turned out, second unit was snagging a few shots of a bank robbery scene for the production which has been lensing in the Winnipeg area for the last twenty days or so. If you're going to ask me which movie of Leonardo DiCaprio I remember the most, I'd say - 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape', and I'll have to add that even though Johnny Depp headlines the flick, both him and Leo stood out with their heartfelt performances- with DiCaprio earning an Oscar nom for his role. While I am inclined to say that Leo's role appears to be the more challenging, the acclaim he received stems from the fact that he really put himself into Arnie and he became that character.
