(Radio Series) "The George Jessel Show" as herself, 1937-38 season. She was added to the series, which debuted in 1934, to bolster sagging ratings. The ratings continued to slide and the series was cancelled at the end of the season. Her inability to save the series caused her to give up all hopes of making a big screen comeback.
