They were hard at work filming the show's third season, and last night's Wtf moment-filled episode featured the controversial threesome that has some advocacy groups rather mad. We have already posted a promo and sneak peeks for the November 9th episode of Gossip Girl and now theCW has released a synopsis and promo photos for the November 16th episode. A few observations: (1) I strongly dislike Serena's pantyhose, (2) Hillary Duff (for all of her occasional annoyances, looks fantastic in the red dress below, (3) it looks like someone took my advice and bought Vanessa a brush (whether she's using it daily yet remains to be seen), and (4) it appears Trip will be sticking around for a while. Will he become Serena's newest love interest?
Finally, in case you weren't aware of the fact that guest stars (especially musicians) seem to appear with incredible consistency on CW shows, Lady Gaga will be making an appearance for the November 16th episode.

Another actress has been tapped to join Blake Lively as the cast member for "Gossip Girl". According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sherri Saum has landed a recurring role in the hit CW show. She will play Holland Kemble, a character which is described as a powerful business executive-turned-Upper East Side trophy wife and could be a trouble for Kelly Rutherford's Lily and Matthew Settle's Rufus.
Sherri Saum got her first major role in TV series "Sunset Beach", in which she played Vanessa Hart. Additionally, she had a recurring role in last season of HBO's "In Treatment" and co-starred in FX's "Rescue Me". As for her career in big screen, she has just wrapped the filming of Hallmark Television's movie "Relative Stranger" and independent film "Ten Stories Tall".

I was amazed by the transformation of Kevin Zegers from teen idol to serious actor. Two feature films should be credited for this amazing transition - Fifty Dead Men Walking and The Perfect Age of Rock and Roll. While Fifty Dead Men gave us a glimpse into Kevin's serious side as an actor, Perfect Age gave us his most important acting vehicle to date.

Screamfest La’s The House of the Devil Premiere Report

This scribe hit Rachel Belofsky’s Screamfest La in Hollywood, CA, last night (as I do every night – extensive video and stills below), where Ti West, the director of The House of the Devil (review here) (screening as the fest’s "Centerpiece Film"), talked up his new series "Dead and Lonely", which begins airing on IFC Monday, October 26th, as well as the dust-up surroundng his Cabin Fever 2 (sort of).
Star of The House of the Devil Jocelin Donahue chimed in about her role in West’s legitimate recreation of early 80’s horror as seen in The House of the Devil , and Icelandic director Julius Kemp of the Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre (the film plays at Screamfest La tonight) spilled on the distribution of that film (which will be at Afm – hopefully American audiences will see it soon).

About a week after being announced as the new cast member for "Gossip Girl", Kevin Zegers was snapped on Monday, October 5 getting involved in the TV series' production. Shooting his scenes in Central Park in uptown Manhattan, the "Air Bud" star was joined by Taylor Momsen, who stars as his on-screen girlfriend Jenny Humphrey.
During the filming, Kevin was pictured wearing a blue shirt matched with a grey jacket and black trousers. 16-year-old Taylor, in the meantime, was seen sporting a black long-sleeved blouse paired with a grey vest and skinny trousers.
Kevin has been slated to appear on a multi-episode arc of "Gossip Girl" to portray Damien, The Hollywood Reporter announced. His character is described as an international bad-boy dating partner of Jenny Humphrey.
Still on the same day, Kevin and Taylor's co-stars, Blake Lively and Chace Crawford, were also spotted shooting their scenes for the hit CW show. »

Finally, news of some Little J action in Gossip Girl's third season! Judging from Jenny's marked absence in the first three episodes thus far this fall, I was beginning to dread that Jenny (Taylor Momsen) had been demoted to a guest star herself.

Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick will get along with another guy in "Gossip Girl". Kevin Zegers has joined the TV series for a multi-episode arc, his representative has confirmed. He is billed to play Damien, who is described as an international bad-boy love interest of Taylor Momsen's Jenny Humphrey. Sources said the actor will start shooting later this week.
Kevin Zegers, who is famous for his starring role in 1997 movie "Air Bud", previously has appeared as a guest star in TV series "The X-Files". Playing a major role in "Transamerica", he won a gong at 2006 Cannes Film Festival Chopard Award for his portrayal of a street hustling bisexual son of a male-to-female transsexual. Recently, he has signed in to play Clyde Barrow in "The Story of Bonnie and Clyde".

To the chagrin of many, and the delight of other, Gossip Girl viewers have seen very little of Jenny Humphrey so far this season.
But that's about to change, as Kevin Zegers is coming on board the show as a love interest for Little J.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor - who has appeared on episodes of House and Smallville - will portray Damien, an "international bad-boy" that falls for Jenny.
No one really knows why.
Next week, even bigger names guest star on Gossip Girl: Hilary Duff and Tyra Banks will both appear on The CW hit. »

Jenny's life is about to get a lot more complicated.
Kevin Zegers has joined the cast of "Gossip Girl" for a multi-episode arc.
He will play Damien, an international bad-boy love interest to Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen).
Zegers, who starred opposite Felicity Huffman in "TransAmerica," was recently seen in "50 Dead Men Walking" and "The Narrows."

The cast of a hot CW series has just grown once more. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kevin Zegers has just joined the cast of Gossip Girl.
Zegers will appear in a multi-episode arc as Damien, a potential love interest for Taylor Momsen's Jenny Humphrey character.
It wasn't clear when Zegers would start work on the series, or when his first episode would air.
