.Am I too big?. Honest to blog, much was expected of Diablo Cody.s follow-up to Juno. The results are a film that might.ve felt more at home in 1989 than 2009. If it were not for the references to cell phone, etc. I though it could.ve been a period piece and may have worked better as one. Jennifer (Megan Fox) is the hot girl at school that everyone with testosterone lusts after. Her Bff (best friend forever) is .Needy. (Amanda Seyfried), a girl who lives up to her nickname since she has a need to keep their friendship though Jennifer seems to be using Needy. Megan Fox has revealed that she cannot stand watching her screen kiss with Amanda Seyfried. The 23-year-old actress, who stars with Seyfried in movie Jennifer's Body, said that she is not comfortable watching the kissing scene because it reminds her of how "awkward" it was to film. "I feel it's so awkward and quiet, there is no score underneath it and it's just... Could you watch yourself doing it? It's awkward and it was really (more) »

It's a slow week for casting news and there are no new films opening in wide release this Friday, but that doesn't mean there's nothing worth reporting on. With 2010 just days away (seriously, where did 2009 go?), studios are starting to release details on their upcoming movies and it's looking like 2010 could be a pretty incredible year at the box office. I'll have the breakdown on 2010's big comedy and action films soon, but in the meantime here's a batch of new photos from some of the movies hitting theaters in the next 12 months:

Clash of the Titans Photos - Sam Worthington/Gemma Arterton
Cop Out First Photo - Bruce Willis/Tracy Morgan
Daybreakers Photos - Ethan Hawke/Willem Dafoe

Megan Fox hates watching her kiss with Amanda Seyfried. The 23-year-old beauty has to lock lips with the 'Mamma Mia!' star in 'Jennifer's Body' but isn't comfortable seeing the smooch played back to her because it was very "awkward to film. Bisexual Megan - who has previously claimed she feels more comfortable kissing her female co-stars rather than her male ones - said: "I feel it's so awkward and quiet, there is no score underneath it and it's just... When Jennifer’S Body was released to theaters, I distinctly remember the movie being upstaged by Megan Fox and Diablo Cody. Media conversation seemed to waver between championing them for being brunettes with tattoos, or furiously deriding them for being an attractive young actress and Oscar-winning screenwriter respectively. Despite Megan Fox’s status as a genuine movie star according to those magazines I always see in supermarket checkouts, it appears that a public hatred has centered on her finding great success because of or possibly in spite of being ludicrously hot, while legions of fans rabidly adore her and are possibly aware that she is a professional actress. Meanwhile the story of Diablo Cody winning our hearts with a screenplay full of pithy quips after drudging her living as a stripper continues to bore anyone who has actually been to Los Angeles and therefore knows that every single person living there is a stripper, »

Here's our first look at Atom Egoyan's Chloe, starring Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore, and Mamma Mia's Amanda Seyfried. It's a remake of the French film Nathalie, which is not a classic, but its story is functional enough that a filmmaker like Egoyan can have some good luck with it.
It's the story of a woman who suspects her husband is having an affair, so she hires an escort (Seyfried) to seduce him, directing their interactions to trap her husband into bad behavior. The film toured the fall film festivals and opens in several European countries in early March, and in the Us and Canada on March 19th.
Thanks to Filmofilia for the pictures, and you can check out a few more over there. »

Written by Diablo Cody and directed by Karyn Kusama, Jennifer's Body is a horror movie for people who don't like horror movies, dawdling and teasing and never really coming to grips with whatever it is it's supposed to be about. Amanda Seyfried easily walks away with the picture from ostensible star Megan Fox. But it's worth watching for the discussions it will provoke. Available in both theatrical and extended versions. Rent it. Also on Blu-ray. Diablo fans can also pick up her premium cable TV series, United States of Tara: Season One.

Ten years after The Blair Witch Project, another 'fake reality' scare show connects with jaded audiences. The simplicity of the set-up by director Oren Peli and the warmth of the married couple -- fighting a bit, loving a bit, pushing each other a bit -- adds to the creepy atmosphere. »

Several pictures in high-resolution from Atom Egoyan-directed film "Chloe" have arrived. Obtained via FilmoFilia, the snaps feature the movie's three main cast Amanda Seyfried, Julianne Moore and Liam Neeson.
One of the stills captures Amanda's Chloe seducing Liam's David. There is also a photo of Julianne's Catherine being hugged by her husband David. The other pictures see either Chloe alone or her with Catherine.
A successful doctor, Catherine is happily married to music professor David. When she suspects that her husband is cheating on her, she hires an irresistible young woman, Chloe, to test David's fidelity and lay her suspicions and fears to rest.
Chloe's torrid tales of her encounters with David take Catherine on a journey of sexual and sensual re-discovery. But by opening the door to temptation, she puts her family in great danger. This movie is due for limited release in U.S. on March 19, 2010. Nina Dobrev, »

A new extended TV spot for Lasse Hallström's upcoming Nicholas Sparks adaptation "Dear John" has hit the Web recently, and you can see it below. It's basically a short version of the theatrical trailer.
In the flick, Amanda Seyfried plays a young woman falling in love with a solider (Channing Tatum) while he’s on leave. When he's deployed, however, the two try to maintain their relationship via love letters.
Also starring is Richard Jenkins, who plays John's father. Jamie Linden, who penned "We Are Marshall," wrote the script. "Dear John" is set to open Feb. 5, 2010. I will chat with the film's stars early next year. »

Opens: July 2nd 2010
Cast: Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel
Director: M. Night Shyamalan
Summary: A live-action film based on the Nickelodeon animated TV series. In a fantastic world where civilisation exists as four great empires, a reluctant young child sets out on a perilous journey to restore balance to a world torn apart by war.
Analysis: Its been quite the decade for M. Night Shyamalan who started it as a household name with labels of a moodern-day Hitchcock thanks to the likes of "The Sixth Sense" and "Signs". Today he's considered more of a one-trick pony and in some cases a punchline due to rampant stories of egomania run wild and a series of much derided onscreen flops like "Lady in the Water" and "The Happening".
Thus 'Airbender' marks a potential return to form for the helmer. An adaptation of the hit cartoon series »

20th Century Fox has released the teaser trailer for Marmaduke, the big screen adaptation of the Brad Anderson-created comic strip.
The official plot synopsis is as follows: For Phil and Debbie Winslow, moving their family from Kansas to the O.C. is a big deal. For their enormous Great Dane "Marmaduke," (voiced by Owen Wilson) however, the move means a whole new way of life. It's chaos at home and awkward at work as the Winslows struggle to control their angsty teenage canine.
Director Tom Dey (Shanghai Noon, Failure To Launch) has said that he approached the film like "a John Hughes movie with dogs," and the dog park is "like high school for dogs". The script "sees Marmaduke navigate a volatile Mutts vs. Pedigrees turf war, woo the purebred of his dreams and overcome a fall from grace."
Alongside Wilson stars Amanda Seyfried, Ron Perlman, Jeremy Piven, Judy Greer, »
