Margot Robbie Is Developing Another Harley Quinn Spinoff Beyond Harley/Joker Film And Gotham City Sirens

Coming out of Suicide Squad, there’s wasn’t an awful lot to salvage from David Ayer’s muddled, CG-laden mess other than Harley Quinn, the scenery-chewing femme fatale brought to life by Margot Robbie.

Indeed, it was Robbie’s gleeful performance that resonated with fans – more so than any other member of Task Force X – so it’s small wonder why Warner Bros. has decided to double down on her Harley Quinn for the foreseeable future.

Up first is a direct sequel to Suicide Squad, after Gavin O’Connor (The Accountant) pipped Mel Gibson and Jaume Collet-Serra at the post to land the coveted gig, while we understand the Powers That Be have also drawn up plans for Gotham City Sirens and Joker and Harley Quinn, an embryonic spinoff centering on the fiery, “messed up” love affair brewing between the two DC icons.

As a matter of fact, Margot Robbie

Justice League Star Wants Jared Leto’s Joker In The Sequel

DC fans had their minds blown when it was announced back in the summer that an origins movie for the Joker was in the works. Sitting outside the DC Extended Universe, the film is set to feature a new actor as the Clown Prince of Crime in place of Jared Leto. Furthermore, The Hangover’s Todd Phillips is directing with legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese on hand to produce.

Since that initial announcement, however, all’s gone quiet on the project with few to no details having been released. As such, fans are left wondering where they’ll see Leto’s Mr. J show up next. Right now, it’s looking like it may be in Suicide Squad 2, after Gavin O’Connor (The Accountant) pipped Mel Gibson and Jaume Collet-Serra at the post to sign on as director, while we understand Warner has also drawn up plans for Gotham City Sirens

Suicide Squad 2 Begins Shooting This March?

It looks like Suicide Squad 2 is on track to start filming early next year. Despite reports that Will Smith's filming schedule on Disney's live-action Aladdin will get in the way of the production start, it looks like Warner Bros. has found a way to work around it. According to a new production listing, Suicide Squad 2 is scheduled to start filming in March of 2018. That should put the movie on track for release in 2019.

Even though the official cast hasn't yet been announced for Suicide Squad 2, it's expected that the majority of the principal cast will reprise their roles for the sequel. Though, the status of when Jared Leto will reprise his role as The Joker in the Dceu is a bit up in the air, it's ultimately expected that he'll appear in the movie. In addition to Will Smith as Deadshot, it's expected that the movie

‘The Commuter’ Trailer: Liam Neeson Experiences the Horrors of Public Transit

If this year feels a little peculiar, it might be that there’s no new Jaume Collet-Serra film, an occurrence that hasn’t happened since 2013. Thankfully, one is just around the corner this January with The Commuter. While the title might hint at a docudrama about the horrors of the Mta, the film actually finds the director once again embracing B-movie thrills, and now a new trailer has arrived.

The film presents Neeson’s character with a question of morality: for $75,000, will he uncover a person with seemingly evil intentions on his train? Judging from this new trailer, he goes along with the plan and Hitchcock-style entertainment unspools. Also starring Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Jonathan Banks, Elizabeth McGovern, and Sam Neill, see the trailer and poster below.

New trailer for Liam Neeson’s The Commuter

“You have until next stop to decide. What kind of person are you?”

That’s the thinly veiled threat made to Liam Neeson’s travelling salesman by Vera Farmiga’s butter-wouldn’t-melt blackmailer in the latest trailer for The Commuter. Jaume Collet-Serra’s action film is shaping up to be the best high-speed transport game of cat-and-mouse since Speed, and whilst the last director/star collaboration may have been more non-starter than Non-Stop, Serra is coming off the back of the terrific Blake Lively and seagull movie, The Shallows, so hopes are high for some high-octane fun.

‘The Commuter’ Trailer: Liam Neeson Has A Ticket To Ride In Hitchcockian Train Thriller
In the new trailer for the Jaume Collet-Serra-directed thriller The Commuter, Liam Neeson, once again, makes use of his special set of skills to get out of a life-or-death situation — and this time it’s on a train! This marks a second in-transit thriller collaboration between Neeson and Collet-Serra. The two previously worked on Non-Stop together. Tinged with Hitchcockian panache and Speed-like thrills, the new trailer for the Lionsgate pic dives deeper into the story as…

Liam Neeson in The Commuter Trailer: One Little Thing

Never play dare with Vera Farmiga. This just a hunch on my part, informed by the first trailer for The Commuter, in which businessman Liam Neeson meets a stranger on a train (Farmiga) who suggests he do "one little thing," which then leads to death, disaster, and dodgy CGI, and the promise of more. Jaume Collet-Serra directed; he's worked with Neeson before on Unknown, Non-Stop and Run All Night, and with Farmiga on Orphan. He's done a fine job of crafting pulse-pounding thrillers, even when the material veers towards the ludicrous, so I'm hoping for more of the same when The Commuter opens in theaters on January 12, 2018. The Commuter Trailer #2 Has Liam Neeson Back in Action

The Commuter Trailer #2 Has Liam Neeson Back in Action
Just over a month after the first trailer arrived, Lionsgate has released a second trailer and a new poster for The Commuter, featuring Liam Neeson in what was originally thought to be one of his final action roles, since the actor hinted last month he's retiring from action movies. He later clarified in another interview that he isn't retiring from action movies, adding that he'll keep, "doing action movies until they bury me in the ground." While it at one point seemed that The Commuter was the end of the Liam Neeson action movie era, fans will still have many more Liam Neeson action movies to look forward to.

‘The Commuter’: New Trailer Has Liam Neeson Facing Problems with Public Transit

Lionsgate has released a new The Commuter trailer. The film stars Liam Neeson as an insurance salesman on his daily commute who is drawn into a dangerous game where he must uncover the secret identity of one of his fellow passengers or face the consequences. The film reteams with Neeson with his director Jaume Collet-Serra, who previously directed the actor in the action-thrillers Unknown, Non-Stop, and Run All Night. Neeson has said that The Commuter will be the last action film he does, so hopefully they make it count. The premise looks suitably loony, and yet it …

Second Trailer for Train Thriller 'The Commuter' Starring Liam Neeson

"Most of us ride this train every day. We nod, we say hello, but how much do we really know about each other?" Lionsgate has debuted the second trailer for the action-thriller train movie starring Liam Neeson, titled The Commuter. From the same director of Non-Stop (the airplane movie) and The Shallows, this movie is basically Unstoppable (the train movie) meets Non-Stop (or even Source Code). Neeson plays an insurance salesman who gets mixed up in a criminal conspiracy on his daily train commute home. Vera Farmiga, a "mysterious stranger", sits with him for a chat and things get very interesting. The cast includes Patrick Wilson, Killian Scott, Jonathan Banks, Sam Neill, Elizabeth McGovern, Florence Pugh, and Damson Idris. This looks like it has tons of action and will be intense to watch, I'm intrigued. Enjoy. Here's the second trailer (+ new poster) for Jaume Collet-Serra's The Commuter, direct from

Jared Leto praises Suicide Squad 2 director

After approaching the likes of Mel Gibson (Hacksaw Ridge) and Jaume Collet-Serra (The Shallows), Warner Bros. finally found its director for Suicide Squad 2 last month in Gavin O’Connor (The Accountant), and now Suicide Squad star Jared Leto has shared a few words of praise for the filmmaker.

“I think Gavin is incredibly talented, he seems to be the perfect director for Suicide Squad 2,” Leto told Collider during a promotional interview for his new film Blade Runner 2049. “I think he’s a really gifted filmmaker and I really love his work.”

Leto also revealed that, much like Margot Robbie, he’s unsure as to what’s next for the Clown Prince of Crime, stating that there’s “a lot of moving parts, we’ll see what happens” when asked if Suicide Squad 2 or the Joker and Harley Quinn film is next on the DC slate.

Hugh Hefner Biopic Wants Margot Robbie
Just a week after it was announced that RatPac Entertainment's Hugh Hefner Biopic will star Jared Leto as Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, another report claims the actor may be joined by a very familiar partner in crime. The method actor's Suicide Squad co-star Margot Robbie is considering an offer to play one of Hugh Hefner's wives in the movie, although it isn't clear which wife she'll play. Ironically, the actress turned down an offer from the real Hugh Hefner to appear in his Playboy Magazine, but this offer is one she's actually considering. Here's what an unidentified source had to say about Margot Robbie taking on the role.
