Take two on live action version of Priest

17 December 2008 3:31 AM, PST | 24framespersecond.net | See recent 24FramesPerSecond news »

Second time lucky perhaps. It was way back in 2006 that we covered the news on a first attempt to get a live action version of Tokyo Pop comic book Priest, off the ground. The project almost came together with Gerard Butler and Steven Strait starring, under the direction of Andrew Douglas but then it fell apart. Now Scott Charles Stewart has signed to direct the horror Western and will star Road Entertainment's Josh Donen. The story is set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampire and follows a warrior priest who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece. The premise always sounded interesting, and we are suckas (gettit) for a good Vampire fest. We’ll keep an eye on this one. Via »

Men of the Year Party With the Women Who Are Obsessions

19 November 2008 6:00 AM, PST | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Two out of GQ's four cover boy Men of the Year came out to celebrate at the Chateau Marmont in La last night. Jon Hamm and Leonardo DiCaprio both lived up to their steamy covers while Michael Phelps and Barack Obama (surprise) couldn't make it to the red carpet. Obsession of the year Megan Fox looked hot in pink and kept her boyfriend Brian Austin Green close for photos. Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel still don't want to define their relationship, but things seem very on again for this duo. January Jones looked glamorous as ever posing without her on-screen Mad Men husband Don Draper, but if the second season of the show taught us anything it's that Betty is just fine by herself. The party may have been about the men of the year, but the women held their own before heading in for a night of fun. To »
