Video: Taylor Swift's Hilarious SNL Musical Monologue

Ah, revenge. After much anticipation, Taylor Swift finally got her chance to get back at Kanye West for storming the stage and interrupting her acceptance speech at September's MTV Video Music Awards. But Kanye wasn't the only one to feel the singer's (good-natured) sting. Dressed in a sparkly minidress and strumming a guitar, the star, 19, performed "Monologue Song (La La La)", featuring choice lines like, "You might think that I like writing songs about douche bags who cheat on me," and "Hey Joe! I'm doing really well!," apparently directed at former beau Joe Jonas. Check out the entire video - See more »

By Steve Pond

In this weekend’s roundup of Oscar news ‘n’ notes from around the web, France comes on strong, “A Christmas Carol” divides the critics, and biopics both good and bad are scrutinized.

Anne Thompson and Kris Tapley spend their weekly podcast approving of the choice of Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin, lauding Jeff Bridges and “Crazy Heart,” and looking at the potential animated-feature nominees. Kick-Ass Character Posters Now Online

6 November 2009 8:08 AM, PST

We’re enormously excited about Kick-Ass, Matthew Vaughn’s balls-out deconstruction of the superhero flick, here at Empire Towers. And the debut of these American posters for the film haven’t changed that one iota.Ever since the news was announced that Vaughn would be adapting (and independently financing) this adaptation of Mark Millar and John Romita Jr’s ultra-violent tale of a young New York teen who becomes a costumed vigilante, there’s been an air of genuine cool about the movie. And the posters, which show only the backs of key characters Kick-Ass, Hit Girl, Big Daddy and Red See more »
