Johnny Depp is boosting his green credentials by making his private island completely eco-friendly.
The environmentally-conscious actor has reportedly invested in a $500,000 (GBP250,000) grid-independent solar hydrogen system to power the 40-acre isle in the Bahamas, which he purchased in 2005 for $3 million (GBP1.5 million).
The state-of-the-art technology will harness the sun's rays to provide unlimited energy to the Depp household.
