The New 'So You Think You Can Dance' Stage: Bigger Isn't Always Better
6 November 2009 6:43 AM, PST
The move to Fall isn't the only big change this season for So You Think You Can Dance, season 6 also features a brand new stage. Apparently the producers of So You Think You Can Dance thought a bigger audience meant they needed a bigger flashier stage, but I passionately disagree with that point.
The new stage, which seems to be a modified, more neon and annoying version of the season 5 finale stage, has taken away almost all of the intimacy and interest that so perfectly showcased the dancers and performances of previous seasons. »

'Smallville' Fan Columnist: How Do You Solve A Problem Like Lois? And Chloe Must Have Done Something Good
6 November 2009 4:57 AM, PST
Smallville Fan Columnist, Trish Neale is here again with some news. If you're interested in becoming a fan columnist, click here.
She might as well be Supergirl! And yes: I realize Kara would object to that statement.
But even without superpowers, Smallville's Lois Lane (Erica Durance) combines the talents of Nancy Drew, Sarah Connor and Katie Couric all in the body of Heidi Klum. Guys dream of her--a girl who drinks beer, calls out football plays in her sleep, attends monster truck rallies and still drops jaws in that little black dress. So what is the problem? Lois seems to have forgotten just how great she is herself. Let me quote: »

Supernatural: The Meaning of Dean's Question
6 November 2009 4:24 AM, PST
While the revelation that the Trickster is really an angel was a big shock on Supernatural, I was just as mesmerized but a much smaller moment earlier in the episode. When Sam and Dean were trapped in the Japanese game show the host asked Dean "Would your Mother and Father still be alive if your brother was never born?"
It's a disturbing question because, in many ways, the birth of Sam helped start Azazel's master plan to open the gate to Hell, free Lilith and get the ball rolling to free Lucifer. Dean's answer in Japanese was "Yes," which was the correct answer, but is it really? »

Everything I Know about Love I Learned from 'Survivor: Samoa'
6 November 2009 3:25 AM, PST
This episode seemed well-timed to coincide with the World Series, and thankfully there wasn't another washout. Instead, there were two walk-off blasts to win the immunity challenge; Kelly and Monica debuted their new line of baseball uniform fashion-wear inspired by Honus Wagner's knee high stockings; and John Fincher coming out as Johnny Baseball. But the episode could have just as easily aired around Valentine's Day. »

'Bones' Fan Columnist: Half Man, Half Chicken Recap
6 November 2009 2:20 AM, PST
Nicole Bessette, our Bones Fan Columnist, Recaps "The Tough Man in the Tender Chicken". We look forward to her weekly show recaps and thoughts. If you're interested in becoming a Fan Columnist click here.
I think I speak for all of us when I say that I was completely ecstatic that Bones returned last night. And might I just say, I really enjoyed this episode. Pigs, chickens, thumbs in chicken nuggets, fights, and relationships discovered. Yup, sounds like another day at the Jeffersonian.
In "The Tough Man in the Tender Chicken," a body is discovered along the banks of the Savage River. Thanks to the Woodchucks, a group of "scientific girl scouts" who absolutely idolize Dr. Brennan, the body was delivered to the Jeffersonian along with water samples, digital photographs of the area, soil samples, and even plants and insects. Looks like these girls really knew their stuff.

The Vampire Diaries: Another Vamp Bites the Dust
6 November 2009 1:36 AM, PST
I hope this doesn't become a pattern. The Vampire Diaries introduced another new female vampire in last night's episode, but by the end, she was dead. What a waste of over 300 years.
This marked the second consecutive episode of The Vampire Diaries in which a Salvatore brother stakes another vampire. I guess they really want to be the only ones in Mystic Falls. »

Supernatural: John Winchester = God
6 November 2009 1:16 AM, PST
Who would've guessed that the TV parody episode of Supernatural would include the biggest twist and bombshell of the season? Not only did we find out the Trickster is really the archangel Gabriel, but we learned that the entire series has actually been an allegory for Michael and Lucifer's battle over God.
That's pretty good for an episode of Supernatural that also saw Sam get slapped, hit in the nuts and stricken with genital herpes, not to mention the uncomfortable feeling of Dean digging around in his trunk. But what does Gabriel's message really mean. »

The Hills: Stephanie Pratt Swears to Stay Sober
6 November 2009 12:00 AM, PST
Last month's DUI arrest definitely taught Stephanie Pratt a lesson, which is why she's made a promise for the upcoming New Year. On an interview with Hollyscoop, the star of MTV's The Hills said that staying sober would be her resolution and she'll definitely be sticking to that.
"I feel like hitting a Top Shop [boutique] in New York and having nice and sober New Years," Pratt told the publication during her stay at the French Connection Holiday Suite. "Life is very good."

Keeping Up with the Kardashians: Kim Cast in 'CSI: NY' with Vanessa Minnillo
5 November 2009 11:30 PM, PST
Definitely adding a bit of spice to her life and veering away from her reality TV roots, Kim Kardashian has landed yet another acting gig. The star of E!'s Keeping Up with the Kardashians will reportedly be appearing on an upcoming episode of the series CSI: NY. And, of course, this spells murder. Onscreen anyway.
She'll be guest-starring alongside actress Vanessa Minnillo, but this won't be the first time the two have worked together. They both had roles in the 2008 flick Disaster Movie. Joining the ladies on the series episode are Lala Vasquez and the band Train, which makes for quite a star-studded installment of the show.

5 November 2009 11:00 PM, PST
Despite their public breakup on Entertainment Tonight yesterday, it seems as though Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman are still attached. The Jon and Kate Plus 8 dad will apparently spend Thanksgiving with his "semi-single", so-called girlfriend instead of with his children.
The 22-year-old daughter of Kate Gosselin's plastic surgeon revealed that she invited Jon to celebrate the holiday with her family. Meanwhile, Kate Plus 8 will be in their Pennsylvania home with their bodyguard Steve Neild.

5 November 2009 11:00 PM, PST
Hugh Hefner's good deed in the Playboy mansion last Halloween must have affected Crystal Harris. The Girls Next Door star recently teamed up with artist Randy Janson, in order to raise some money for The Keep A Breast Foundation.
On her official website, the Playboy model announced that she had a cast of her torso painted for charity. It's signed by Crystal Harris herself, and is up for bids to spread awareness about breast cancer prevention.

Jack Davenport Doesn't Want His Own 'Flash Forward'
5 November 2009 10:30 PM, PST
Like actor Jack Davenport, maybe we can all sigh with relief at the fact that Flash Forward is just a television show. If a global blackout were to happen in real life, we wouldn't be equipped enough to handle it since it's doubtful our lives are planned out to the last detail.
Anyway, the 36-year-old star revealed to the Press Association how he hopes actual flashes of the future won't happen in real life. When asked if he'd like to experience his own vision, Davenport answered with a laugh, "Absolutely not - I'm scared enough of the future as it is, ignorance is bliss!"

Smallville: Preview of Episode 9.07 "Kandor"
5 November 2009 9:00 PM, PST
There's a family reunion tonight on , as Clark (Tom Welling) faces his biological father at last. Julian Sands enters the scene as Jor-El, who comes to Earth in search of his son.
On "Kandor," Jor-El arrives at the Kent farm looking for Kal-El. Unfortunately for him, he isn't around and he instead encounters a different being - Chloe (Allison Mack). It's a good thing she doesn't intend to capture the guy and claim his powers. That's already someone else's job.

'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Review: Reunion Special, Part 2
5 November 2009 2:19 PM, PST
After witnessing all the squabbles on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, you kind of wish that these ladies would just call a truce so they can get a long once and for all. It's nearly impossible though because for one thing, it's a TV show and there's just too much beef going on between NeNe and Kim. And in the end, all you really want to see are the crazy catfights that got you hooked in the first place.
Unfortunately, that wish sort of came true in The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 2 reunion show. It's weird because if you've seen the first season's reunion special, much less the other housewives franchise's reunion episodes, you were probably expecting a show that would match, if not exceed, past seasons. Sure it's a refreshing change from all that table-flipping drama but considering how things ended between NeNe and Kim in the finale, »

Mark Dacascos and Michael Irvin Talk 'Dancing with the Stars'
5 November 2009 12:38 PM, PST
Iron Chef America host Mark Dacascos and former NFL star Michael Irvin tried to improve their dance scores each week but sadly their efforts weren't enough to keep them in the running on Dancing with the Stars. On Tuesday night, both players were sent home in a double-elimination, leaving the show with its final five contestants. Still, both were amazed at how far they made it in the competition thanks to their loyal fanbase. »

5 November 2009 10:09 AM, PST

But the big story is Lexi, the fun and old vampire who shows up to party with Stefan, wear a towel and distract Elena and fight Damon. But in the end, despite being stronger, Damon's intelligence won out and he got the upper hand by launching his Diabolical Master Plan. »
