Kevin Smith's 'A Couple of Dicks' now called 'Cop Out'

Kevin Smith's comedy "A Couple of Dicks" has now been titled as "Cop Out." Personally, I think the former title is more like Kevin Smith's slap-in-the-face-style than the latter. Smith revealed the new name of the Warner Bros. Pictures' release prior to the "Cop Out" trailer beginning its debut in front of "Sherlock Holmes." According to sources, Smith told Entertainment Weekly that the key reason for the switch was that the studio wanted to advertise "Cop Out" on sports programs, however the major networks noted that they couldn't run adverts before 9 p.m. if the film kept the "A Couple of Dicks" title. "Cop Out" is se to open in February next year and stars Bruce Willis, Tracy Morgan, Seann William Scott, Adam Brody, Jason Lee and Michelle Trachtenberg. Adler and McCarthy for "Night and Fog"

"Night and Fog" from publisher Studio 407 has been optioned by producers Gil Adler and Shane McCarthy. Studio 407's Alex Leung also produces. The sci-fi horror comicbook is set during WWII and tells of an infectious mist unleashed on a military base. This transforms its victims into preternatural creatures of the night. Survivors efforts to slay them are fruitless as they adapt, changing into something even more terrifying and unstoppable than before. Adler and McCarthy are also joining along with Eric Eisner to produce the adaptation of "Havana Nocturne." »
