Swag Se Swagat hits 13 million views and becomes World’s Most Viewed Video in 24 hours on YouTube

Fans were eagerly awaiting for the first song of the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai and when ‘Swag Se Swagat’ dropped fans went into a Bollytizzy. Everyone really loved the cool dance track composed by Vishal-Shekhar with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. So much so, that in just 24 hours, the song and video is an uber hit. In fact, ‘Swag Se Swagat’ is the world’s most viewed video in 24 hours and currently has hit over 13 million views on YouTube alone. The song has also topped Apple Music, plus has clocked over one million streams in 24 hours on all music streaming platforms.
The dance groove with a cool message features brilliant vocals by Vishal Dadlani and Neha Bhasin. Celebrated director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next is a social issue film titled Merey Pyarey Prime Minister. Highlighting the issue of outdoor defecation in India, the first poster was released on World Toilet Day. Featuring the critically acclaimed actress Anjali Patil, Merey Pyarey Prime Minister is scheduled for release in 2018, presented by Romp Pictures.
During an interview last year for his film Mirzya, Mr. Mehra also spoke to us about this film saying, “There is, I won’t call it a small little film, no film should be called small just because the budget is small, the cast is small, but it is the story of a seven-year-old boy living in a Bombay slum. He has a sickly mother and he wants to build a toilet for his mother because there are no toilets in the slum.

After its mind-blowing trailer, we now get to see even more because Tiger Zinda Hai’s first song ‘Swag Se Swagat’ has released! An out-and-out dance anthem featuring stars Salman and Katrina, what’s really cool is ‘Swag Se Swagat’ has the two actors grooving in Greece with a plethora of international dancers with swag worthy choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar said, “‘Swag Se Swagat’ celebrates peace, brotherhood and love. It’s fun, frothy and visually stylish. Twinkle Khanna Discusses The Imporant Message Of Padman On BBC World News

Twinkle Khanna, a vocal women empowerment champion, interior design entrepreneur, best-selling author, newspaper columnist and producer of Padman – the world’s first feature film on menstrual hygiene releasing 26th January 2018 – was invited by BBC World News, live from New York, to discuss the making of the film as well as the importance of raising the issue of female menstrual hygiene and dignity around the world.

Tumhari Sulu off to a roaring start!

T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment’s Tumhari Sulu, directed by noted ad filmmaker Suresh Triveni and released on November 17, scored a robust opening weekend at the domestic box office, living up to its tagline, “Main Kar Sakti Hai”.
Released in about 1150 screens in India, the much-loved slice-of-life family film opened to a net box office of Rs. 2.87 cr., which is significantly higher than comparative films of the same size and genre that released earlier in the year. Exceptional reviews and word-of-mouth saw the Saturday collections jumping to Rs. 4.61 cr, while on Sunday, the film made a further leap to Rs. 5.39 cr. The aggregate weekend number stands at Rs. 12.87 cr.

First Look: Tiger Shroff in Student of the Year 2!

The first Student of the Year starred Alia Bhatt, Siddarth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan in the lead roles and proved to be a very successful debut for all three actors and for Karan Johar. Now, ever since the news of Student of the Year 2, directed by Punit Malhotra, was announced, the buzz around the film has been very positive (despite recent rumours of the film being shelved). Today, sees the release of Tiger Shroff’s first look poster for the film.
As you can see the poster shows Tiger in a very cool and relaxed mode and certainly intrigues us! It will be interesting to see what vibe the other posters for the film will carry!

We have all been eagerly awaiting the first song from Yrf’s Tiger Zinda Hai. Featuring stars Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan the song is full of Swag! So much so that it is called ‘Swag Se Swagat’. In case you haven’t heard, the song, choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant and sung by Vishal Dadlani and Neha Bhasin, hits the airwaves tomorrow November 21st!
