Zack Snyder releases his short film Snow Steam Iron

Last week Zack Snyder took to social media to unveil a poster and teaser for Snow Steam Iron, a short film he’d shot for the social media platform Vero, and now the filmmaker has unveiled the full short through the app.

The short stars Samantha Jo (who portrayed an Amazon in this year’s Wonder Woman), and the synopsis reads:

“Snow gently falls on the blood-stained streets of a seedy out-of-time New York City. Steam envelopes the nightmare unfolding within its narrow alleys. Iron is the will of the one who would dare to resist… fight… survive.”

You can check out the short via the Vero app below…

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard on this. https://t.co/F5zjRvxBs7#SnowSteamIron #ShortFilm #VEROBrandAmbassador

John Cena and Roman Reigns will meet for the first time ever this Sunday, as will Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar as they do battle for the WWE Universal Championship. The two matches have a lot of competition, though, if they wanted to make the list of No Mercy’s greatest match of all time.

Let’s take a look back at some the best encounters to have »

Movie Review – Memoirs of a Spectrum Addict

Memoirs of a Spectrum Addict

Directed by Andy Remic.

Synopsis:

A documentary feature film based on Andy Remic’s memoirs growing up with the Zx Spectrum; part cinema drama, part interviews, part nostalgic journey.

The Zx Spectrum back in the 1980’s was one of the computers to have in your home. Forget your Nintendos and your SEGAs, and I’d say forget PlayStation, but back in the 1980’s they weren’t even a twinkle in Sony’s eye, as they were still concentrating on their excellent Betamax recorders.  Now from Andy Remic comes Memoirs of a Spectrum Addict, a film which brings to the screen numerous memories that are so firmly wrapped around the classic Sinclair machine.

It’s clear from the off that Andy has made this with total love for the Zx Spectrum, with loading screens separating the chapters, classic cassette boxes on show and recounts of days gone by. »

Despite rumours, Marvel’s Inhumans hasn’t been cancelled (yet)

Marvel’s latest TV venture Inhumans has certainly had a tough time of things; the first promotional images and trailer were savaged by fans, and the two-part premiere episode – which screened in IMAX theaters earlier this month – met with a similar fate from critics and audiences.

The show – which has reportedly been a source of contention between ABC and Marvel – is gearing up for its network premiere a week from today, and a new promotional poster has arrived online which bills the superhero drama as ‘The Complete Series’, prompting speculation that the show has already been cancelled. Here’s the poster in question…

However, a spokesperson from ABC has contacted RenewCancelTV to state that “this is not a new poster [and] the same promotional verbiage [has been used] throughout our campaign.”

It would certainly seem a little early for a decision to have been made on the future of Inhumans; despite all of the negative buzz, »
