The Originals Recap: Party Monsters

Ain’t no party like a Mikaelson party, ‘cuz a Mikaelson party… literally always ends with someone’s bloody corpse being thrown off a balcony.

RelatedThe CW Sets Finale Dates for The Originals, The Flash and 8 Others

To be fair, we all knew that Klaus’ shindig on Friday’s episode of The Originals was doomed from the moment he announced that it was for “New Orleans’ most influential creatures.” (Like, how is that not going to end in bloodshed?) Not to mention, as Hayley astutely pointed out, it was a fake party to celebrate a fake truce with Marcel, the event’s special guest, »

Drag Race Recap: Was the Right Queen Snatched From the Competition?

Snatch Game arrived (at last!) on Friday’s Drag Race, and while most of the queens were busy slipping into character, others decided to finally show their true faces.

RelatedLast Week’s RuPaul’s Drag Race Recap: Eureka Eliminated in Last-Minute Twist

The drama began immediately, with Farrah Moan questioning whether Nina Bo’nina Brown really wants to be on the show. This accusation, as you’d expect, was not well-received. There was much finger pointing. (Watch it here!)

Fortunately, the mood lightened significantly — if only for a few fleeting commercials breaks — when it came time to play Snatch Game. »

Scandal Needs to End With Season 7

My fellow Gladiators, we need to talk.

When Scandal premiered on ABC in the spring of 2012, it was electrifying. Half-procedural, half-political thriller — and all-dramatic soapy goodness — it was a fresh addition to the television landscape. On that much, we can all agree.

RelatedScandal‘s Joe Morton Talks Mellie’s VP Pick, Rowan’s Face-Off With Fitz

At the risk of sounding like a romance novel come to life, there were countless moments throughout the series’ first few seasons that left me breathless. Fitz getting shot in Season 2? Breathless. Queen Sally Langston bludgeoning her husband to death in Season 3? Breathless. »

Supergirl: As Alex Fights for Her Life, Kara and Maggie Team Up for a Rescue

Two wildly different scenes were unfolding during TVLine’s recent visit to the set of The CW’s Supergirl.

Upon our arrival, you heard orders being barked throughout the Deo, as frantic agents swung into crisis mode. A half-hour later, the scene at hand was much quieter, the words being spoken much… warmer. The calm after a perilous storm?

Gong Show Taps Mike Myers (?) to Host

ABC on Friday announced that Tommy Maitland will host its upcoming Gong Show revival, but if you Google the “British comedic legend,” you’re likely to come up with more questions than answers.

That’s probably because (spoiler alert!) Maitland isn’t a real person. He’s, in fact, a fictional character being played by an actor believed to be Mike Myers. Though no one at ABC will confirm the Myers-as-Maitland theory, it’s hard to deny it when you look at the side-by-side photo above.
