Dancing With the Stars Week 6 Recap: Did the Right Couple Go Home?

It’s all too appropriate that Monday’s episode of Dancing With the Stars was dubbed “A Night At the Movies,” because the two-hour broadcast contained some seriously cinematic plot twists.

A couple that earned its first pair of 10s just last Monday was knocked back down into seven-and-eight territory. Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli were both compelled to take their “six” paddles (!) out of storage for one particularly bad routine. And, after reigning for the past two weeks as the duo to beat, Jordan and Lindsay were bested in the scoring department by another couple.

And, of course, the »

The Voice Recap: Pump Up the Volume

Before we dive into Night 3 of The Voice’s Season 13 Battles, perhaps we should address a mini-controversy: Am I grading on a curve? On one hand, maybe, since I’m comparing, say, Davon Fleming to Dave Crosby and not Bruno Mars. On the other, not really. The reason I end up handing out so many decent-to-good grades isn’t a curve, it’s that none of these singers are really D or F bad. The Voice doesn’t trot out William Hung types, so I kind of have no need for failing grades. That settled, let’s move on to Monday’s battles, »

The Gifted Recap: Meh-scape Plan

I have wanted to believe in Fox’s The Gifted (and still do), but this Monday’s episode was admittedly wafer-thin, simmering to a climax that kinda has me questioning the stakes moving forward.

In fact, one could almost boil the episode down to three scenes: plan formulation; Marcos procures intel; and execution.

Supergirl Recap: A Tale of Two Fathers

Father’s Day came early to Supergirl, as Monday’s episode reunited two characters with their estranged dads. Unfortunately, one of those reunions went down in flames — while the other, despite its happy ending, included plenty of actual flames.

RelatedLast Week’s Supergirl Recap: Mind Over Matter

Let’s start with the successful reunion: Following last week’s urgent message from M’gann, Kara and J’onn made (literal) tracks for Mars in what appeared to be a classic convertible. (It was later revealed to be a spaceship in disguise, though that didn’t keep Kara from blasting “…Baby One »

Kim Cattrall Suggests Sex and the City 3 Should Recast Samantha Jones With a Black or Hispanic Actress — Watch

Kim Cattrall may be done playing Sex and the City‘s Samantha Jones — like, so done — but that doesn’t necessarily mean the character needs to stay dead and buried. (Dressed in something fabulous, no doubt).

In a new interview with Piers Morgan, Cattrall — who appeared in all 94 episodes of the HBO series (1998–2004), as well as its two follow-up films (2008 and 2010) — recalls her decision not to reprise the role for a third movie in Dec. 2016, saying that her answer was simply “Thank you, but no.”

As for the subsequent rumors that she was being “demanding or a diva,” Cattrall puts »

NCIS' Duane Henry Talks of Reeves' Secret Demons (Plus One Hairy Reveal)

NCIS viewers have yet to learn much about Clayton Reeves, the MI6 Officer who was introduced two season finales ago. But in this Tuesday’s episode (CBS, 8/7c), that is about to change.

Just don’t tell series regular Duane Henry that he has been keeping a “low profile.”

“It’s not so much that, but…. I’m more what you call a ‘secret weapon,'” the affable English actor corrects with a wink and a laugh. “Pull me out when need be, because you don’t want to overwhelm people with my presence.”

Ray Donovan Renewed for Season 6 — But a 'Big' Change Is In Store

Ray Donovan has been renewed — and, more importantly, relocated.

Showtime announced Monday that it is bringing the Liev Schreiber fixer drama back for a sixth season, but that’s only half the story. The more interesting news is that after five years in Los Angeles the series is shifting its setting to New York City.

The 12-episode, Big Apple-set season will begin production in early 2018 and debut later that year.

The renewal comes just days before Ray Donovan airs its Season 5 finale (Sunday, 9/8c), an episode that was partially shot in NYC. »

Stranger Things Review: Season 2 Doubles Down on Monsters, Adds Heart But Plays Risky Waiting Game

In the parlance of Mike Wheeler and friends, Stranger Things Season 2 is the Empire Strikes Back to the first season’s Star Wars, in that it’s a highly anticipated follow-up where the stakes are higher for a band of unlikely heroes. But also because just as Luke Skywalker spent much of that sequel on his own journey, so does Eleven here — which is perhaps the otherwise engaging sophomore season’s only shortcoming.

Warning: The following contains spoilers for the Season 8 premiere of The Walking Dead. If you’ve yet to watch, pretend Negan’s about to take a swing and look away.

The Season 8 premiere (and 100th episode) of The Walking Dead was filled with inspiring fighting words about how the world belonged to Rick and our heroes, the allied forces were going to live in peace and harmony, they’d all be together forever, yadda, yadda, yadda. But the all-cried-out look in Rick’s red-rimmed eyes, seen in (I think) flash-forwards, served as a stark reminder that turning all that talk »
