Trivia:

On 15 April 2005 the Norwegian heavy, psychedelic rock-band WE made a live soundtrack to the movie whilst screening it in the atrium at Studentersamfundet in Trondheim. They wore cloaks and the vocalist; Thomas Felberg sang/wailed the written passages in between scenes.

Scary movie

I watched this movie yesterday on big screen with live orchestra and it´s was great!

It´s fun to see how Sjöström used different colours to show past (brown), present(black and white) and what could have been (pink). I come to think of modern movies like "Traffic".
