Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this new feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes .
Visit our Parents Guide Help to learn more

Sex & Nudity

None.

Violence & Gore

The queen sends a woodsman to kill Snow White. He sneaks up on SW with a menacing look and his dagger drawn. The queen wanted him to bring back Snow's heart. Later, the queen tries to prove to the mirror that Snow is dead by showing him a box that allegedly contains her heart (it's that of a pig). The heart is not seen, but the box has a picture of a heart with a dagger piercing through it.

The old hag falls off a cliff and giant rocks fall after her (suggesting she'll be crushed). Two vultures eagerly follow.

Profanity

None.

A poisoned apple is given to a character to eat.

This film contained no scenes of tobacco use. Using a standardized scoring system, this film received a smoking rating of 0 Butts (on a scale of 0-4 Butts). For more information on the impact of onscreen smoking and the initiation of youth tobacco use, or for more information on the rating system, visit www.smokescreeners.org.

The Queen sends a woodsman to kill Snow White; as she runs the forest "comes to life" and contains several scenes that may scare the youngest children.

The woodsman sneaks up on Snow White with a dagger pulled and a menacing look on his face (before he breaks down and confesses and tells Snow to run away).

As the Queen transforms into the old Hag, the room spins as she changes shape. She looks "scary" as she transforms. Creepy cackle even scares her pet crow who hides inside a skull.

A character is killed after she falls off a cliff, and its implied she is eaten by vultures.
