A woman is somewhat sexually obsessed with a man she hires to play piano for her. Nothing happens between the two.
An opening scene shows a woman (Bette Davis) intentionally hitting another woman (Joan Crawford against gates). No faces shown. No blood or bodies. Crawford later says she hit Davis and missed and hit the gates crippling herself. A woman is increasingly psychotic throughout the film. She beats a woman and ties her up for a long time A woman puts dead animals on a crippled woman's meals A woman kills another by striking her in the neck with a hammer.No blood throughout the entire movie, though implied violence is high.One woman serves another a dead bird for lunch, then later, a dead rat for dinner.
A woman mouths bitch and says damn and crap. Hell is used frequently. Nothing serious.
A main character is an alcoholic and drinks vast amounts of liquor at once. References to being drunk.
The film is altogether very intense and might be disturbing. The presence of an adult is better.
