I noticed that no one had commented in a few years, and that's sad considering the level of quality to which this series aspired. There were a few clunker episodes when it became too self-conscious, but there were so many more that surpassed most feature films in terms of photography, writing, acting and the courage to explore and expand horizons. Those who contributed to I Spy should be proud of their work, and I appreciate and respect it. By the way, remembering Robert Culp just laying waste to the evil Jack Cassidy (after Culp took a beating in the boxing ring) makes me giggle like a schoolgirl. Oh, yeah!
