Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

This film is VERY tame for an 18 in the UK and R in the USA. Most kids 12+ would be fine with it.

Note: The number at the beginning of each section refers to how much explicit content of that kind there is in the film on a scale of 1-10. The fraction at the end of the last section is the total sum of the sections over the highest sum possible (50) and is therefore an approximation of about how explicit the film is a whole.

Sex & Nudity: 3

Tugo bathes in a tub. As he gets out we get a brief glimpse of his buttocks. (we mostly see him from the waist-up)

Violence & Gore

Violence & Gore:7

Some violence. Shootings are present but relatively mild.

Several men walk into a building before we then hear gunshots. Tugo then smashes out of the building's window and we see all the men on the floor, shot and dying.

A man is killed in his home with his wife and children present.

A man shoots another man in his home, covering the man's face with a pillow before he shoots him through it.

A woman is struck on the face by a man several times to get information.

Tugo is seen to be hung repatedly but Blondie shoots him down.

A man takes revenge on another man getting him to place his head in a noose above a chair at gunpoint. However, a cannon shoots the room and the man manages to escape in the ensuing explosion.

A man is seen to have severe burns after being stranded and taunted in the desert.

An injured man speaks to Tugo and eventually dies.

Some scenes where men are executed by firing squad.

A scene where a man is tortured that goes on for some time (including heavy kicks and punches, eye gouging).

Tugo places a body that he is cuffed to on some train tracks so that the train can run over the body and break the chain. (We briefly see the body being dragged underneath the train)

We see a bloody casualty of war in a medical room.

Tugo and Blondie run through a field of dead bodies killed in war.

A man is shot and falls into an open grave.

A man leaves another man in a noose hung above a tree on a rickety gravestone, but eventually shoots him down.

Profanity

Profanity:7

Through the first few scenes in the film a character consistently refers to another character as a bastard and a son of a bitch. There is one use of the word 'Bullshit'. The language is mild and there is one use of g-ddamn

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking:2

Characters are shown frequently drinking and smoking.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:6

There are some intense and suspenseful gun fights.

Several men are nearly hung.

A man leaves and taunts another man by leaving him in the desert to burn and die. However, the man is later rescued when circumstances change.

A man is heavily and brutally beaten.

An idea of how accurate the TECE (below) is: 5-10 is a little-kid suitable, G-Rated type of film (i.e. Care Bears, Sleeping Beauty); 10-15 is going to be a little harsher, but not by much (i.e. The Incredibles); 15-20 could be pretty high up there (i.e. Indiana Jones), 20-25 is going to pretty darn adult (i.e. THIS); 25-30 is going to be a film most likely not suitable for anyone under 17 (i.e. Braveheart); 30-40 is going to be an absolutely, positively adults-only film (i.e. Saving Private Ryan), and 40-50 is going to be hard R to NC-17 (i.e. Pulp Fiction).

Total Explicit Content Estimation:25
