- Continuity: During the car chase, the milk van drops half of its cargo in a sharp turn. Later on, when the van passes the camera, the van is fully loaded again.
- Continuity: When Dr. Noah is explaining how his atom-bomb pill works, a gun disappears in the time it takes him to open the cupboard.
- Revealing mistakes: When the pod from the flying saucer "drives" up out of the water in the underground dock, the cable pulling it is plainly visible near the bottom of the screen.
- Revealing mistakes: Obvious strings suspending one of the exploding ducks that Bond is shooting at.
- Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Bond throws down the Chinese girl during his anti-female training, he ends the conflict by saying "Sayonara", which is actually Japanese.
- Crew or equipment visible: When Lady Fiona McTarry enters Bond's bedroom a crew member can be seen in the mirror on the far wall. He disappears later in the shot.
- Crew or equipment visible: In the Jaguar / Bentley / Milk Float chase, when the first truck crashes off the road a camera in plainly visible in the left side of the screen.
- Continuity: When Bond and Moneypenny are running down the hall in smersh headquarters, they are holding hands, then not holding hands (as Moneypenny runs behind Bond), then holding hands again when they get to the door.
- Plot holes: After Vesper is kidnapped outside the casino, James Bond (Evelyn Tremble) enters his Lotus Formula 3 to find her, but in the next film shot, Bond-Tremble is in Le Chiffre's psychological torture room. How was Bond caught?
- Continuity: The giant oval-shaped window gets blown completely out, with no glass remaining. It cuts away to another shot, and then cuts back and you can see there are shards of glass still in the window.
- Anachronisms: Sir James received the Victoria Cross at the Siege of Mafeking (1899-1900). He later had a daughter with Mata Hari who was executed in 1917. Yet in 1967, Sir James seems to be only in his late 50s and Mata Jr. looks about 25.

- Incorrectly regarded as goofs: SPOILER: Giovanna Goodthighs appears in the casino long after Vesper Lynd says "I took care of her" to mean she was killed. But they are secretly on the same side, making it likely that Vesper only claimed to have killed her.
