Trivia:
Betty Hutton and Howard Keel, co-stars of the critical and financial hit, Annie Get Your Gun (1950), were set to team again. However, when filming started, Miss Hutton could not keep up with the fast-paced schedule (10 to 14 days). She was fired and replaced by Joan Caulfield, who was Betty's colleague on the Paramount lot during the post-war Forties. more

Can anyone tell me more about this movie? I'm looking for a Western I saw as a child that has a raft battle scene. One of the men on the raft carries a small heavy cannon around and fires it at attackers. I think they may fight Indians, but I'm not sure. It was a color movie from 1950-60s time period. It was pretty good action, especially for children. I don't recall any of the actors or actresses unfortunately, but it may have had someone like Rory Calhoun. I haven't seen it on TV since so I'm having trouble finding it. I would appreciate it if you could give me the title, actors, or anything else. Can anyone tell me what it is?
