Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

The very explicit sex scenes apparently weren't simulated.

In the opening scene a kid has sex with a hooker. The young teenager is shown nude from the rear and front, but his privates are hidden. The hooker is shown fully nude, front and back. This scene runs 3 1/2 minutes. Many other explicit sex scenes occur throughout the movie.

Four sex scenes include full frontal female nudity, and two include frontal male nudity. The others almost always include side nudity by both men and women.

One of the scenes is a sex show apparently between two women, one with a strap-on. Then (with close-up on the crotch) the strap-on is partially removed to reveal that the performer was unquestionably a man.

Two of the scenes involve a black man and white woman. This is important because race figures prominently in the film.

Violence & Gore

There are several unprovoked beatings with punching and kicking drawing blood. One ends with one man stabbing another with an open handcuff.

A brawn includes a man being blinded and strangled. It also includes a man being stabbed with a pool cue.

A man holds another man and shoots a pistol next to his ears to deafen him. We see blood spilling from his ears.

A fish is shown being cleaned.

A man's infected wound is shown in close-up. He then dresses it in dirt mixed with urine before bandaging it.

A man kills and eats a real lizard. The bloody left-overs are shown.

The bloody carcasses of dogs are shown floating in a river.

Profanity

The N-word is used eight times. The F-word is used seven times. The S-word is used six times. There are occasional religious profanities.

A woman offers her arms to show that she has not be injecting drugs.

A few people smoke. People are also shown drinking and/or drunk.
