Trivia:
The music used in the church resurrection scene is "The Black Mass: An Electric Storm in Hell" from the 1969 album "An Electric Storm" by White Noise. Watching the kids hang out and explore spooky places and seances is fun in this movie. In fact, that is the best part about the film. The parts with Dracula and Van Helsing fighting are less interesting, almost boring. It is one of those movies where there is some that you like and then parts where it just seems to fall flat. You wish you could have sat down and worked with the writer and director to change the lame parts. Some sections of the movie are slow and some scenes run too long. This is a good set up and some entertaining moments along the way. I must say that Warner Brothers has released a nice looking transfer of this film that has been restored. The colors look really good here and there are no speckles. The audio is also presented well. The Main theme is played way too much though. By the end of this you will feel like you have been listening to the same song for two hours because you have! The theme is good, but damn!
