Continuity: After the robbery, Doc and Carol's blue car plows through a neighboring porch. The windshield is clearly shattered by one of the broken porch columns. As soon as they are out of town, the blue car is immaculate.
Continuity: The grey mercury driven by carol at the drive-in hits at least one other car head on, yet in later scenes the nose is intact.
Continuity: Doc and Carol are stuck in the garbage truck at night. However, some shots of the vehicle's pneumatics show clear blue sky in the background.
Continuity: When Carol discovers in the train station that her locker key has been switched, she is holding the key for locker number 090. When she hands it to Doc and we see it shortly after, the locker number on the key is 249.
Continuity: When Carol and Doc open the station locker and they realize that the grifter has stolen their money, Doc's jacket momentarily disappears only to reappear shortly thereafter.
Continuity: In the scene where Doc and Carol pull up to Benyons Ranch (4648) the driver’s side of the white Ford wagon has 2 different hubcaps. The rear is correct while the front hubcap is a replacement. Later in the scene where Doc is leaving the wagon on top of the parking garage (5703) the replacement hubcap is on the rear while the original is now on the front.
Continuity: During the bank robbery, the same couple walks past the main entrance twice.
Continuity: When Doc finds he can't shoot Rudy after knocking him out in the hotel, he unloads the gun and drops it next him. Later on during the shootout Rudy awakens, grabs his gun, and flips the empty cylinder shut without reloading it. But when he comes out the window to shoot at Doc, his gun is miraculously reloaded.
