My first introduction into the world of Paul Naschy with "Horror Rises from the Tomb". Been hearing things about this Naschy guy so I finally decided to watch what some say is his best film. After viewing it I now want to see more in Naschy's filmography. It was a cool flick. Biggest fault - utterly dull direction. A forgettable flaw once the gore rolls in, and boy does it roll in! Hearts ripped out, disemboweling, decapitation you name it. Warning though, I've heard that the recent releases of the film are heavily cut so I'd advise you to track down the old 80's Charter version.
