The Sinful Dwarf Arrives on DVD in Late March

Severin Films is releasing a new DVD of the abhorrent classic The Sinful Dwarf (Dværgen) on March 30, 2009. This film, which was issued on VHS ages ago by Something Weird,  has been restored from a 35mm print found in a janitor’s closet at The Danish Film Institute. The Sinful Dwarf stars Torben Bille (a former kid’s show host) as a deranged loon who imprisons drugged teenage runaways in the attic of his elderly alcoholic mother’s decrepit rooming house. The movie is as sleazy as it sounds, particularly due to a leering, grimy performance by Torben Bille.
