Spacemen Jackoff and Asshole have come to Hollywood from planet Urine to impregnate human women. Their planet is going to crash into it's sun, so they need humans to continue their species. They do this by spying on people having sex, and then beaming the women to their ship where they are kept in a trance-like state till they've been impregnated with the aliens' long tongue-penises.The budget of this movie must've been pretty low, it makes Flesh Gordon look like Star Wars. The acting is good and corny. Although I enjoyed this film, there were moments when the story would drift off and lose my attention. It would've been nice if there was even more alien involvement. This isn't a porn film, it's mostly just a corny sci-fi space romp. I think it was made during the time that hardcore porn films were just beginning to get made. Overall it's not an excellent movie, and not near as funny as I thought it would be. But still, it's worth seeing for it's weirdness and corniness alone.The Something Weird release of this DVD has a lot of good extras, including two short films titled "Daughters of Darkness", and "The Peeper".

Two buglike casanovas from outer space visit our planet to spread some good lovin' among the earthly females in this dated and infantile but fun 70's Sci-Fi softcore epic. The budget is even lower than "Flesh Gordon" (1972) but Dyanne "Ilsa" Thorne makes an appearance as an unsatisfied (!) hooker who gets some close encounters of the X-rated kind. The director made "Blackenstein" the same year! "Wham Bam.." could seriously damage your IQ but who cares! Another wacky bomb from Something Weird Video's Vaults of vintage sleaze.

This is one of those movies that defies description. There's absolutely no way any words of mine can adequately convey just how stupid, cheap and cheesy this ultra-low budget 70s sci fi softcore silliness is, so I won't even begin to try. All I can say is that if you have a taste for trash ala Ed Wood, Russ Meyer, Jack Hill, or even (the absolutely worthless) Ted V. Mikels, then you NEED to see 'Wham Bam Thank You Spaceman' sometime in your life.Two alien doofus studs are sent to Earth to save their race by bedding down as many human women as they can. That's it for the plot. 'Blackenstein' director William A. Levey looks like he had a budget of $100 to work worth. The aliens spy on "hot" babes getting it on, then by electronic jiggery pokery beam them up to their spaceship where they give them some good extraterrestrial loving via their unusual equipment. This is repeated with variations over and over, interspersed with some "humour" as comic relief. Cult fans will probably want to track this one down as it includes Dyanne Thorne ('Ilsa, She Wolf Of The S.S.) and Haji ('Faster Pussycat!) in the cast, but I wouldn't get your hopes up, it isn't erotic OR amusing. Even so, it is impossible to tear your eyes from the screen as long as this unbelievably moronic movie is running. Afterwards you will shake your head and exclaim "How did this crap ever get made?!"Now available on DVD!

"Wham Bam Thank You Spaceman" is the most retarded thing I've seen in a long while. Its a soft-core "comedy" from the 70s about two space aliens who travel to Earth to procreate with female specimens, adding "humorous" and crude observations that resemble bad Burlesque filler comedians except with a high abundance of offensive four letter words. This film kills more brain cells than any drug out there. Its dumber than "Flesh Gordan". Hell, its even dumber than either "Space-Thing" or "Nudes on the Moon". Its possibly the most mentally delayed thing ever caught on celluloid. As a comedy, its a complete failure. As soft-core porn, its a complete failure, despite the presence of many attractive performers from the day (Dyanne Thorne and especially Sandy Carey in a maid outfit). However, I couldn't tear my eyes away from the screen because I kept wondering how this crap could ever get made.There's several reasons why I was fascinated throughout, in addition to the absolute stupidity of the project which I'm sure you're sick of hearing about by this point in the review (you'll be more sympathetic once you actually sit through this). The so-called comedy isn't funny in the traditional sense, but is rather amusing in the "Dolemite" sense of you're laughing at it, not with it. Also, the film is extremely politically incorrect, peppered with liberal doses of sexism, awkward descriptions of genitalia, and even a "humorous" rape sequence. I'm shocked they could get away with all this even in the 70s! There's two versions of "Wham Bam" available. One is from Something Weird Video and is purely soft-core. There's also a hardcore version available, but like most hardcore porn of the day, I found it rather uncomfortable. Hey, I'm not a prude, its just the performers in the day were often gross and unattractive. Stick with the Something Weird version. "Wham Bam Thank You Spaceman" is the kind of ineptitude best viewed after five or so beers. (5/10)
