Funk singer made a memorable appearance on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' this week.
Har Mar Superstar performs on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on Monday

You'd be excused if the word "legend" was not the first honorific that sprang to mind after watching Har Mar Superstar on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" on Monday night. But that's how the former "SNL" star referred to the Minnesota funketeer (a.k.a. Sean Tillman) after he tore down the house with a performance of his body-quaking new single, "Tall Boy."
The electro tune — which is full of double entrendres about sex, big beers and ... well, mostly sex — has been turning heads over the past few weeks, thanks to an appropriately Wtf-worthy sci-fi video, starring actress Eva Mendes. The "2 Fast 2 Furious" star spends most of the clip getting blasted with glitter amid scenes of girly pillow fights, a »

If you're like me, you woke up Tuesday morning (like, really, really early), stumbled down to your underground media bunker (not as sexy as it sounds) and did a triple take when you saw the phrase "Har Mar Superstar" at the very top of Google Trends. Like, above Rudolph Valentino and the hot Mormon muffins calendar.
But we were probably confused for different reasons. See, I know who Har Mar is. In fact, I'm a huge fan of the balding, tubby Minnesota hunk of white funk thunder who bears an uncanny resemblance to Jon Lovitz' character in "The Critic." The singer (who also records under the name Sean Na Na and whose given name is Sean Tillman) has been making waves the past few weeks thanks to the outrageously weird video for the first single, "Tall Boy," from his new album, Dark Touches. In case you haven't seen it, »

The short lived ABC drama Life on Mars was yanked off the air after 17 episodes thanks to sagging viewership. Adapted from the British show by the same name, Life on Mars takes viewers on a funky trip to the early ’70s through Detective Sam Tyler who mysteriously finds himself in the happenin’ year of 1973. The rub? Sam is actually from 2008. Odd? Yes. The connection? He’s working on it, but his travel to the time of disco, cocaine and big ol’ sideburns may have something to do with the case he was working on in ‘08.
It’s a travesty that the show couldn’t find a large enough fan-base since the retro cop drama is well-written and was executed almost flawlessly. The series also manages to contrast social commentary on current events with an authentic ’70s vibe and feel. Think Rockford Files, Kojak and Starsky and Hutch mixed with the entire CSI franchise. »

As more and more news comes out about Joe Carnahan’s upcoming remake of The A-Team I’ve grown very interested, and anxious. When I first heard about the film I was skeptical. Was this to be another comedic derivitive of a somewhat serious show much like the Starsky and Hutch movie starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson?
Alright, I realize there was something inherently funny about the original A-Team series, but it was the Eighties and that’s what television was like back then. Strip away the one liners and jabs and the core of the show made an effort to follow a somewhat serious vein.
To that end, it appears Carnahan is determined to make this a great action film (If you’ve seen Smokin’ Aces, you’ll know what I’m talking about) based on some more set photos. Testament to this are the shots of Bradley Cooper »

Similar to ABC’s Shindig, Hullabaloo featured a different celebrity host each week to introduce some of the most popular musical performers of the day. However, the show received most of its press not for the rock groups or vocalists that guest starred but for Lada and fellow dancers who bumped, grinded and twisted their way into the homes of teenagers every week. So popular was she that she landed on the cover of TV Guide magazine.
Before she found TV fame, Lada began her career dancing on Broadway. She was one of »
