Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Naked people shown in bed, but nothing shown below the shoulders. Many characters discuss and engage in infidelity. One character talks about wanting oral sex. An old man says the best thing in life is 12 year old blonde girls, preferably two of them. Several mentions of having multiple lovers at once. One reference to sexually transmitted disease. Several references to "satisfying" a woman.

Violence & Gore

A couple brief scenes of battlefields covered with dead soldiers, some bloody. One brief, silent scene of a soldier wearing eyeglasses with a broken bloody lens. A duel is fought, and one of the participants is shot in the arms and large bloody splotches appear, but no pain is evident. Many people are hit over the head and knocked out, but in a slapstick style.

Profanity

None.

Several scenes of people drinking alcohol until they are intoxicated. No other drugs or smoking.

One character in the movie is Death (classic grim reaper costume except it is white), and so dead people are seen talking, including one with a small bullet hole in his forehead, but most look perfectly normal. An old man has a heart attack and dies. Another man dies in bed with people around who are not upset. A character is shown committing suicide by hanging, except he talks while in the noose and is alive in the next scene without explanation. There is a dream sequence with coffins but healthy-looking people step out of them. There is a firing squad scene, but the shooting is not shown.
