- Audio/visual unsynchronized: After Mars pulls Pluto off of Brenda and throws him onto the trailer floor, Pluto's lips don't move when he says, "You son of a bitch!"
- Continuity: One brief nighttime shot of "Bobby" has been flipped: a cut on the right side of his face can be seen on the left hand side.
- Factual errors: Toward the end of the movie, Bobby and Brenada use the left rear wheel of the car to pull Papa Jupiter across the ground, if the Axel had snapped like Big Bob said, this would be impossible.
- Revealing mistakes: Grandpa Fred rubs his fingers across a supposedly-fresh bloody hand print but it doesn't smear.
- Continuity: As Jupiter and Pluto are heading toward the trailer, the scar on Jupiter's face disappears for several shots.
- Continuity: After the cannibal punks break into the family's trailer, Mars opens the birdcage, takes out the bird, snaps off its head and drinks its blood. Later, while Mrs Carter is being laid out on the sofa bed after being shot, the birdcage is clearly visible behind her, still closed and with the bird hopping around inside.
