This is one of Spencer's greatest films.It's right up there with "They call me Trinity".The script isn't very good but the likeable characters make up for it.Bud,as always, is the strongest one there is(sorry Hulk). He beats up 10 men without even breaking a sweat and it doesn't look silly,thanks to Michele Lupo's sly direction.But this time around the story doesn't focus on the fist-fights.There are more things going on.It's nice to see that Buddy can actually act.He dominates the film with a performance that ranges from the usual grimaces and moans to internal conflicts and, occasionally, furious anger.(Spoiler).Bulldozer is a man who once had it all.He was on the top.But,because of his ego,he couldn't accept that some day he could lose.And when that happened,he took off,he hid his true identity and he tried to forget the past.But it came back to haunt him every day since he left.He then tried to redeem himself by coaching a teem of youngsters(he was a football player).But when he comes face to face with the rotten facade of sports-entertainment once more,he decides that it's time to show the world why he retired.He enters the fray again and the "bad guys" should watch out,because this time...it's WAR!
