Susan Sarandon, the star of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Pretty Baby, Atlantic City, Thelma & Louise, Lorenzo’s Oil, The Client, and one of the leads in Peter Jackson’s upcoming The Lovely Bones, was honored with the 2009 Stockholm Film Festival’s Lifetime Achievement Award. There's a baffling lack of fanfare here for something this long in coming. Filming wrapped on The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond in 2008, the first new production of a Tennessee Williams screenplay in 40 years, with a strong cast including Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Evans, Ellen Burstyn and Ann-Margret, yet it's only being released in the States at the end of the year.According to Coming Soon, Williams was due to hand the script over to his A Streetcar Named Desire and Pretty Baby director Elia Kazan, but Kazan moved onto other projects. The script follows Mississippi socialite Fisher Willow (Dallas Howard), who in trying to get one-up on her corruptive and greedy father, hires her father's employ Jimmy (Chris Evans) to be her escort to a swish family party, which she has to attend if she stands any chance of inheriting money. Beautiful Brooke Shields recently said that she regrets losing her virginity at the age of 22 and wishes she had sex earlier. The 44-year-old actress and model revealed that she used to have lack of self-confidence when it came to her appearance. Consequently, she put off from having sex.
To Health magazine, Shields admitted that not learning to love the way she looked earlier is her biggest health regret. In the interview, Shields said, "I think I would have had sex a lot earlier! I think I would have lost my virginity earlier than I did at 22."

Brooke Shields wishes she'd had sex sooner. The former "Lipstick Jungle" beauty - who became famous aged 12 playing a prostitute in the movie "Pretty Baby" - says her biggest regret in life was not losing her virginity until she was in her 20s.
She said: "I think I would have lost my virginity earlier than I did at the age of 22. I had the public and all this pressure, and I wish I had just gotten it over with in the beginning when it was sort of Ok."
The twice-married actress - who raises two children with husband Chris Henchy - also wishes she had been more confident with her body when she was growing up.
She added to America's Health magazine: "I think I would have been much more in touch with myself."

The actress who shot nude scenes at the age of 12, revealed that she used to be insecure with how she looked and that contributes to the fact that she waited until 22 to have sex.

As a child star, Brooke Shields was always watched over by Teri Shields, a stage mom known for her tenacity. And now that her mother has been diagnosed with dementia and is living in an assisted living facility, it's Brooke who watches over Teri, say friends of the star.

Pretty Baby actress Brooke Shields told People magazine on Friday that her mother, 75-year-old Teri Shields, was checked out of her Old Tappan, New Jersey, nursing home on Thursday by two National Enquirer reporters seeking a "tabloid story."
The elder Shields, who suffers from dementia, was later found unharmed at a restaurant next to the assisted living center.
"I intend to take every lawful action against all who were involved or who authorized this despicable act," Shields declared.
Shields says that, on late Thursday afternoon, Old Tappan Police told her that two National Enquirer reporters.
