Knight And Day Trailer Starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz

12 hours ago | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for Knight and Day, a film directed by James Mangold and starring Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise. Diaz plays a woman who is reluctantly linked to Cruise’s “man of mystery” as they become fugitives in this globetrotting action-comedy filled with shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals. The film used to be called Wichita and before that Trouble Man, but Knight and Day is almost certainly final now that it’s on a trailer.

The footage is not too different from that of the Entertainment Tonight spot we reported about yesterday, but more coherent due to the lack of Et interruption. I do like the framing device of Diaz explaining the craziness of her predicament to Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Marc Blucas; I’m sure the trailer could have been much more generic. I still hate the title, but I might like …

First Poster and Footage from Knight And Day Starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz

21 December 2009 6:33 PM, PST | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

Thanks to Entertainment Tonight, film geeks have gotten their first look at the upcoming action-comedy Knight and Day, starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.  The film, directed by James Mangold (Walk The Line), follows a mismatched couple– Diaz and Cruise– as they travel the world, engaging in hijinks and various misadventures.

Want to know more?  Here’s 20th Century Fox’s official plot synopsis:

An action-comedy centered on a fugitive couple (Cruise and Diaz) on a glamorous and sometimes deadly adventure where nothing and no one - even themselves - are what they seem. Amid shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals, they race across the globe, with their survival ultimately hinging on the battle of truth vs. trust.

The film was formerly known as Wichita, but that title was abandoned following the realization that Wichita is one of the least-descriptive, audience-repelling titles ever conjured.  Knight and Day seems to fit the …

Teaser Trailer for Kristen Stewart's 'The Runaways' Arrives

17 December 2009 7:09 PM, PST | Aceshowbiz | See recent Aceshowbiz news »

A day after the sneak peek to "The Runaways" came out on Entertainment Tonight (Et), a teaser trailer for the film has been released by MTV on Thursday, December 17. Though it is much the same with the previously released snippet, the new video has a clearer picture and manages to give a better look at Kristen Stewart's Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning's Cherie Currie performing The Runaways' famous hit "Cherry Bomb".

"The Runaways" is based on the 1970s all-girl rock band of the same name, which were brought together in late 1975 by impresario Kim Fowley. Being expected to be an easy sell with a novelty act of teenaged girls performing in leather and lace, the girls ended up proving to be serious and influential musicians.

The film itself will cover the formation of The Runaways through to Cherie's departure at the peak of their success. It is also …

Iron Man 2 Trailer Launch!

17 December 2009 4:23 AM, PST | Atomic Popcorn | See recent Atomic Popcorn news »

We have a kind soul known simply as ‘Mirko P. from Houston’ to thank for the online launch of the Iron Man 2 trailer.  Set to debut in theaters on Christmas Day (and previewed on Entertainment Tonight Wednesday), the trailer is now available on Apple.com.

The buzz on this film coming out of Comic-Con was absolutely stellar, but it’s been a while since we’ve had anything to pique our interest other than pics of Mickey Rourke as Whiplash and a couple of character posters — one of them featuring a solid glimpse at Don Cheadle’s War Machine.  This trailer should build up a good bit of buzz.  It doesn’t offer much that we haven’t seen yet, but gives us just enough of a glimpse to open the internet up for wild plot speculation and whatnot.

Iron Man 2 drops May 7th, and it is a …

The first trailer for Iron Man 2 is now up and running on Apple and fanboys, eat your heart out. While many of the clips shown are mixed from the material seen at Comic Con and what was shown on Entertainment Tonight, it is nothing short of what we expected: pure awesomeness. Every character is given a good amount of screen time, with the exception of Sam Rockwell's Justin Hammer, who is only seen briefly at the opening senate hearing and gets a half a second walkthrough. Also, AC/DC? Iron Man, you complete me. Check out the trailer in glorious HD over …

Does New 'Iron Man 2' War Machine Footage Reveal Too Much?

New footage from "Iron Man 2" is set to debut on tonight's episode of "Entertainment Tonight," and by now you've probably seen the promotional clips that hit the 'Net earlier today, so we have to ask: does all of the footage reveal too much?

With today's peek at what's likely to be even more footage from "Iron Man 2," it stands to reason that a lot of the questions floating around Splash Page HQ have found their answers. In fact, we can deduce most of the storyline involving Iron Man and War Machine from today's promo ads alone.

So consider this a big ol' Spoiler Alert, folks — because we're about to get all sorts of theoretical.

New Iron Man 2 Viral Clue Gives Us Confession And Not Much Else

16 December 2009 2:37 PM, PST | cinemablend.com | See recent Cinema Blend news »

Right on the heels of the new Entertainment Tonight promo, we now have the third puzzle piece in Iron Man 2's viral campaign. Chud has released the third piece, and just like the first two clues, we have yet another newspaper/magazine clipping that has been haphazardly cut out and burned. This time the story comes from a paper called the London Express, and, like the first clipping, was published shortly after the end of the first film when Tony Stark proclaims that he is Iron Man. We also once again have a highlighted word, giving us, thus far, "secret Stark confession." You can see the first two clues here and here, and if anybody has any idea as to where this is going, please leave something in the comments section. Until then check out the picture below. …

Even More Iron Man 2 Footage Gives Us War Machine

Congratulations, we are now your drug dealers. Yesterday, Josh posted a promo with some pretty flashing images from Iron Man 2 that will be on Entertainment Tonight... tonight. Now that we have you hooked, here comes the heavier stuff. Another promo for the show has come up online, and, in addition to the awesomeness that was included in yesterday's clip, it includes something that might actually get me to watch the show for the first time ever: War Fucking Machine. Between the two taking on what appears to be an army of robotic soldiers, a new suit (trianglular arc reactor, anyone?) and a killer Jerry Maguire reference as Rdj jumps out of a plane, I expect the DTs to kick in at approximately two minutes after the show is over. …
