• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Allie reads to Leila from the book, he does not read continuously but instead takes snippets from the text, skipping sentences as he does.
  
  
• Continuity: When Leila is sitting at the window, the number and position of items on the windowsill change.
  
  
• Continuity: The position of Leila's legs on the radiator changes between shots as she talks to Allie.
  
  

• Continuity: The reflection of Leila sitting in the chair shows the the back of the chair near to the mirror, when all other shots have it the other side of Leila.
