Trivia:
The character Diana was ranked #5 in TV Guide's list of the 25 Greatest Sci-Fi Legends (1 August 2004 issue). more
Goofs:
Incorrectly regarded as goofs: When the mother ship is approaching and we see a group from behind as they are watching it, Robin Maxwell leans in to her mother and puts an arm around her. In the reverse shot, she is hugging her mother. Then we cut back to behind them and she leans in and hugs her again. This is because there are two different actresses playing Robin during this scene. The shots of Robin from the front are of Blair Tefkin, who played Robin the entire duration of the series. The shots of her back during this scene are of Dominique Dunne, who was strangled to death by her boyfriend after a few days of shooting. Director Kenneth Johnson kept the reverse shots in her memory. more
Quotes:
Diana:
Yes, but you know how impatient our Leader can be.
Steven:
Even with you?
[Big mistake, as Diana's acid glance informs him]
Steven:
I just though that given the intimacy of your relationship...
Diana:
[tight] Be very careful, Steven.
Steven:
It just pains me to see you so upset.
Diana:
He doesn't understand that my conversion process is still an experiment. It doesn't work the same on every subject.
Steven:
Yes, but when it does work, the results are stunning. These scientists believe that there really is a conspiracym and that they are a part of it
Diana:
And the evidence we planted reinforces their beliefs.
Steven:
The conversion process is working. Scientists are be ostracized all over the world.

The best thing EVER to be put on television, without a doubt. V is just the most amazing mini-series ever! Both parts are incredible, with fab acting, cool special effects and one of the greatest stories ever put to the screen. If anything, watch V for the brilliant performances from Jane Badler, Marc Singer, Faye Grant, Blair Tefkin, Diane Civita, David Packer, Viveka Davis, in fact, the whole cast are totally amazing. There's really nothing else left to say. The best TV event of the '80's, hang on, no, the best TV event of ALL TIME! To everyone out there, watch it and love it!
