Continuity: In the war sequence, the soldiers give their sergeant a clock which is placed on the edge of the mound they are hiding behind and is clearly visible. In the next shot, the clock is gone.
Revealing mistakes: In the vomiting scene right after the bucket is taken away, the end of the hose the liquid comes out of can be seen.
Miscellaneous: During the World War II segment Eric Idle can be seen stifling laughter when he is supposed to be dead.
Continuity: In the classroom scene the young student seated in the rear right corner appears and disappears three times in successive shots.
Boom mic visible: In the scene where The Grim Reaper is talking to the couple and their dinner guests, you can see the boom mic moving along the fabric which is the ceiling.
Continuity: At the start of the miracle of birth section. the mother is traveling backwards (head first). But just before she leaves the corridor, the camera view from the gurney indicates that she is moving feet first.
Revealing mistakes: When Terry Gilliam unzips the Zulu costume to introduce The Middle Of The Film, using the nose-ring as a zipper, the suit separates when it is half-way unzipped, and the zipper continues down the right side of the suit, as the two pieces fall apart.
