The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

suggested sex

Female nudity (breasts) are shown

Violence & Gore

Quite a bit of gore.

It is heavily implied that the vampire kills several women (sometimes we hear the screams)

The vampire assaults Charley in his room, lifts him by the throat and throws him about until he stabs the vampire with a pencil (with bloody results)

In a nightclub the vampire kills a bouncer by ripping his neck open (blood sprays), and he kills another bouncer by breaking his neck

Evil Ed (now as a vampire) turns himself into a wolf and leaps at Peter Vincent, but Vincent stabs the wolf and thereafter, he transforms back into Evil Ed (now dead) that scene is very intense and quite gory

A vampire melts (very gory)

The vampire takes the shape of a bat and attacks Peter & Charley

A vampire is impaled with a stake and thereafter is set on fire and it dies

Profanity

Some language but not graphic

Casual alcohol consumption is shown.

Several scenes involving gore may be too intense for some viewers.
