The original HBO/Thorn tape release is dark and unwatchable, as well as cut. The cable version is bright and clear and features European folk music over the formerly silent end credits, but cut. The Republic/Lumiere tape release is bright and clear, (almost too bright in some suspense scenes), and was the longest version in existence until the release of the MGM DVD, which is not only uncut and in widescreen, but is bright, clear, and watchable. The Republic/Lumiere tape bears the retitling "Howling II - Stirba, Werewolf Bitch", while the DVD and the other VHS versions are still titled "Howling II
- Your Sister is a Werewolf".
