Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

None

Violence & Gore

Throughout the movie, soldiers are shot with guns or bows, minimal blood.

- Rambo shoots a Vietcong sergeant with an explosive arrow, he explodes on- screen (no blood) - Rambo shoots a pirate with a shotgun he has a bloody wound and he falls in water, making a bloody splash. - A man tries to strangle Rambo, but Rambo takes out his knife and impales him through hay, blood is seen running down his hand. Some large explosions. It's not that much of a violent movie compared to films now-adays. -Rambo is tortured by electrocution, he shakes violently.

Profanity

Contains profane references to God and Jesus. There are also other profanities sprinkled throughout. One f-word

The soldiers are seen smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol at times

The battle scenes and the scene of the man's body exploding are mildly intense. As is the torture scene. There's also a scene where the Russian sergeant tells his bodygurad to cut out a POW's eye, but doesn't. May be suspenseful for first-time audiences.
